Well, the Carolina Panthers almost won it all this yr at 90 to 1 odds (beginning of the season)..and Fla Marlins won it at 125 to 1... In sports any team can do it, and I think in the tight-west the very underated Memphis (VANCOUVER) Grizzlies might actually make the playoffs and push the pace.

i agree in baseball and football any team can win. because baseball is a game of inches, and football has hugh parity.
however in basketball the only teams that can win this year, are kings, lakers, mavs, wolves, spurs. with the only longshots with a chance are nets and pacers. everyone else has a 0 chance. you bet on anyother team you are burning your money.

I see nothing wrong with Ivan posing this question - however, I have no intention of scouring all the books to arrive at an answer when you, Ivan, can do so as well, unless of course I was already doing so for my own purposes, which I ain't - lol. But I did notice that Canbet has the Grizzlies posted at 200-1. The max you're allowed to win is $100,000 on this wager, so you can put down $500 on it.
