Jim Marshall not only ran the wrong way for a safety , but also played in more consecutive football games (282) than any player...

Marshall played primarily in the 14 game regular season schedule, 20 yrs x 14 gms

thanks

Eddie Murray drove in 75 or more runs 20 straight years, the longest RBI streak in MLB history (including 3 strike years)

With little fanfare, De La Salle High School Football of Concord, Ca. has not lost a game in 12+ years. (Something like 130+ games) They have travelled throughout the nation as well, playing the best of the best. Many Division One players and several NFL'ers out of this program.

Andre the Giant was erroneously hyped by the WWF as having the greatest pro wrestler career prior to WMania III.

"17 years. NEVER been defeated".

In truth, he has experienced numeruous defeats, but wrestling was just taking off, and no one had seen him lose on national tv.

LA Thunderbirds had a HUGE winning streak in Roller Derby in the early 1970's.

Navratilova and LArry Holmes also long tenures at #1.

honorable mention- UCLA Hoops, Taipei little leauge, North Carolina womens soccer,

Most impressive to me is DeLaSalle high school Football in Concord,Ca, have not lost in 12 years

glad you mentioned "unbeaten" for their record during this time was 25-0-10

to me this isn't close in comparison to the lakrers 33 straight since the lakers won EVERY GAME - not tie some of them

a streak that also has to be mentioned is notre dame's current win streak over navy in CFB - something like 37/38
