These are the names that come up in my head first when I think of MLB AL teams. Even though I probably know most if not all the players on each of the teams current roster these are my "faces" of the franchise.

Seattle - Griffey Jr.
Texas - Juan Gone
Angels - Tim Salmon
Oakland - Mark McGwire
KC - George Brett
Cleveland - Albert Belle
White Sox - Frank Thomas

Wayne Gretzky- LA Kings.

I'm not worried about if I spelled it wrong or not.

Reggie Miller with the Pacers.
The best player that team saw for a long time. Still think of Miller when I hear Pacers.

Very hard for many "great" franchises to be associated with just "ONE" individual.

So throw out the RED SOX, YANKS, BRUINS, BEARS, PACKERS, CELTICS, ETC., ETC.

My top two.........

JORDAN ----BULLS
GRETZKY---OILERS

Look at the Celtics, one could name any of the following..........

1. RED
2. BIRD
3. RUSSELL
4. COUSY
