I would say a good capper with bad discipline and money management falls into this description.
Think of someone who hits over 60% one 1 or 2 sports/leagues but plays his losing sports/leagues anyway, the why don't matter, can be because he thinks he can beat it and just needs to keep trying using new angles; or simply because he is an action junkie that when up 10 units in the day and felt he was losing money by not betting the next game, an addict, a compulsive Joe.
A person like this I would say has a talent but lacks self control and discipline. This happens more often than people think and a lot of you break even guys that post here would be winning ones if you had more restraint. I include myself in this category.

It's hip to be square. I'm a square sharp. Or a sharp square. I win about 4 out of 5 NFL seasons, since I've been doing this, bust my ass studying during the NFL season, try and stay away from perceived traps, try and fade, or at least avoid, strong public consensus plays, try and avoid being on the same sides as some long term losers among forum posters and touts, play a healthy dose of teasers at teaser advantage shops, etc. But I don't consider myself sharp. NFL is the only sport I really bet. Plays in other sports are usually going for middles and such, which I guess is somewhat sharp?
