And more importantly what's your number one league, based on talent and parity of talent?

I don't know that parity of talent is a good factor in evaluating how good a soccer league is. This is particularly true in the European leagues where there is an upper echelon of teams that are stacked in every league in order to be almost always competitive in Champions League. It's no coincidence teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, AC Milan, etc are always loaded. It's like the New York Yankees always competing in some kind of extra MLB international tournament every year. Having said that, I think my top 5 are all the Euro leagues listed followed by the leagues in the Americas. The amount of top talent isn't even close. Follow the money...

I think parity can be a factor, especially in Europe where they all have super teams, having better lower teams should factor in. Everyone says the EPL is number one, I think it's the Bundesliga.

I would place both La Liga and Bundesliga ahead of EPL. EPL gets a lot of pub, but I think it is at least 3rd or lower in the pecking order. If for nothing else, the other European teams develop better talent at home. That means EPL starts at a disadvantage before all of the imports are taken into account.

Leicester City I think is proving right now that the EPL has the most parity. Spain is all Madrid and Barca. You will get one blue moon who wins la liga every 7 or 8 years like Sevilla or Atletico madrid. Germany is all Bayern Munich. Dourtmund and Leverkusen aren't real threats. France is dominated by PSG. I guess you can argue Italy. But, italian football is boring.

They're actually ranked in the top 10 by most experts. I've seen them ranked as high as 7th. MLS has come a long way since the league started.

The dropoff from european leagues to MLS is huge!! MLS gets all the european retirees.
