I'm sure the players were a bit upset at first because athletes tend to be competitive people, but I'm sure once they got home they didn't give a shit anymore and are just enjoying the off time. It would upset a team like the Rays more had they of lost because it's new to them and they want that ring, but to a team like the Sox where most the players have been there and done that it didn't mean shit to them and they are just as happy, if not more so, to be at home spending time with their family or out at clubs having a good time.

You're right the players could give less of a fuck about winning. They're more concerned about how much money they make and right now they're probably counting their money. I never understood why people are fans of such assholes.
