I always found that "clear the mechanism" thing pretty funny because when I played that is exactly how it was. I didn't hear anything or anyone once I got in the batters box.

1. Field of Dreams- My all-time favorite movie. I thought Kevin Costner and James Earl Jones were so good together. Even though he batted right handed, Ray Liotta played a very good Shoeless Joe Jackson.

2. Tha Natural- Robert Redford was marvelous as Roy Hobbs. This movie always makes me feel good.

3. Eight Men Out- Very good cast and a lot of gambling references. The old uniforms and the scenery made me feel like I was back in 1919. I thought John Cusack as third baseman Buck Weaver played his part very well.

Only Lee could have played that role...Goodman maybe if he lost weight...

I think a lot of players do this...especially in Bronx and Chicago...where the curse words and the stuff thrown at you can really get in your head....Milton Bradley needs to watch this movie...and learn this technique before he kills somebody...

It's Major League without question to me.

The more in depth you are telling a story, the worse of a baseball movie it is.
It's not what the game is about.

I will have to hit the Free Market to find this one....If I were to ask the fool at the desk at blockbuster about this movie, he might have me arrested for making him think....classics are hard to find these days...
