This is me. Tell me where I fall as far as politics go:

I believe in...

Hard work. Honesty. Discipline. Respect. Putting others above yourself. Family. Small government, but enough to "keep the peace" and what is necessary. God. The "Golden Rule". The right to free speach. The right to bear arms. I believe abortion is wrong, but wont call people "evil" for differing views. Forgiveness. 2nd chances, but I believe in that rapists and cold blood murderers deserve what they dish out.

Is it me or do I not see a political party out there that I can associate with?

You are a christian. His ways are not the ways of the world. You are of the party that believes one day Jesus Christ will rule and reign over all the nations. That's my party too.

Your a good guy.
Not perfect but who is?
Political party?
Been voting for decades.......never agree with all the issues on the platform, but have to pick.
Who will do the best? Or least harm?
Always tough.

Let me just add, although I believe in all those things, I am in no way perfect. Far from it.

I do consider myself a follower of Christ. But I almost cringe at the term "Christian" these days. Its so generic and has so many different meanings to so many different people.

Its funny that I can post what I believe in the original post, and most people will respect most of it. Even if they dont agree with all of it.

But if I post that I am a CHRISTIAN, some people would automatically get turned off.

Man has truly ruined this world.

When you say you believe abortion is wrong.... does that mean you would make it illegal? If not, I think you are a libertarian.

Really? I know the party has been around awhile but havent really educated myself on it.

What about the party in particular makes it the best fit?
It maximizes individual liberty with as little use of the government as possible.

Good question. To be honest with you, I really dont know if I would completely outlaw it.

I do believe it is wrong. But if my daughter was raped would I want to see that baby come into this world? A baby that was made by pure evil? Wow. I dont know....

I guess if I "ruled" then I would have VERY strict limitations on abortion.

I took a quiz and come out with liberal/libetarian. Wish someone could bump that thread for Wildcat Coach was a good one.

I'm sold on the individual liberty aspect but I dont 100% agree with the libetarian approach which is probably why I came out between.

i never understood why people try to categorize everything. your what you said you are. not a democrat, republican. people want to categorize everything to make things easier.

people say because i i want universal health care im a democrat.
then when i tell people i want no immigration, or very little immigration im a neo con.
then when i tell people i like government im a socialist.
but then when i tell people i want a 50 foot wall built around the united states im on the far right side again.

ill just sum it up. putting people in boxes may make it easier for you to make a snap judgment, but overall is a waste of time and accomplishes nothing in the end.

your political spectrum is you, simple as that.

Wow. I can't really say I disagree with any of that. Nice post.

Since it's statistically unlikely (thank goodness) that your daughter will be made pregnant by a rapist, the more pertinent scenario to pose is:

If your daughter became pregnant and elected to terminate the pregnancy, would you endorse a policy that would subject her to time in prison for infanticide - as proposed by many hardcore anti-abortion advocates?

Funny, all of my republican friends (what few there are) can't seem to put two sentences together without usuing a lot of me's and I's. The words "us" and "we" seem to be mysteriously missing from their vocabulary.

Cool. That makes me feel better about taking a tiny bite of your Ching on Sunday night when I packaged COL +310 (at Van) with LAClippers +17 for a $65 payback on $9
