What am I missing: why is Oregon favored by 20 1/2?

Yes, I know Oregon will want to do well to get a spot in the final four. However, OSU has the talent to keep this one close. They beat ASU a couple weeks ago.

Yes, they lost to Washington by 24 last week but this is the Civil War game. They would want nothing better than to bring their in-state rivals down to earth again in front of the home crowd.

If nothing, I can even see a back door if Oregon were to get up big early.

Thoughts? What am I missing?

I like Oregon State. The Duckies are already in the Championship Game and the Final Four if they win it. They will just be looking to get out of this game with a win and no injuries. The only thing to worry about with the Beavs is stupid turnovers in the passing game.

Well this isn't going anywhere fast. I was so hoping the Ducks would fall on that fumble and cash in a quick TD so the second half line would be closer than it should be.

I don't see Oregon letting up at all here in the second half. Maybe we can come up with something then. I'll post the line in this thread.

I'm seeing Oregon -9 for the second half which looks excellent to me. Mannion is lost out there and except for the last set of downs the Ducks haven't been stopped. I say they keep the scoring on in the second half.

Play the under for the second half. Oregon will throttle down. And Mannion will make mistakes in the passing game trying to bring them back. More times than not, blowouts like this usually leads to a 2nd half under.

I'm seeing 31 1/2 for the 2nd half total. You could be right. I don't see OSU scoring any if at all and I don't see Oregon scoring as many points in the 2nd that they did in the 1st.
