Detroit/Vancouver Over 5.5 +105 would be at the top of my list.

What is the exact reason why the day off is Monday again. First of all why is their a day off and second of all it should be Sunday's where there are typically very few games. There are 7 NHL games on Monday night and only 3 on Tuesday. We have to miss out on the huge card but get the 2 game Sunday and the 3 game Tuesday? :icon_conf

Two horrible games yesterday and 3 more brutal ones for tomorrow. And yet we miss out on 7 quality games for tonight.

What makes you like this over so much?

Just trying to learn something here, feel i am too close to the canucks to see what you guys are seeing.

Vancouver just held the pens to one goal with out louie and kept Sid and Malkin off the score sheet.

I try not to be so much of a "trend" bettor, I mainly go on feel. But you cant ignore these facts....

Over is 8-2 in DET last 10 vs. Northwest.

Over is 8-2 in DET last 10 road games.
Over is 8-2 in DET last 10 vs. Western Conference.
So for me it is more on the notion that the high powered Detroit offense will get at least 4 here, imo. The Wings price is a little high and the Nucks are rolling right now, so I have no real opinion on the side. I think the Nucks are good for 3-4 tonight as well with their recent play. Could go either way, and lets not overlook these facts as well:

Under is 7-2-1 in VAN last 10 overall.

Under is 8-3-4 in the last 15 meetings

Summing up my opinion, I think this battle tonight will be a shooting match and we are looking at a 4-3 game!!

My original post doesn't spell out my point clearly with the over on this game. It wasn't so much regarding the play so much as the line. These overnights have been offering great value lately and I just felt the +105 was another one. I'm surprised to see most dime shops still offering around even money on the over . I thought it would move much higher.

Apparently Powerz's opinion is prevalent with most bettors out there.

Detroit has been absolute money on overs, (providing they don't hold their opponent to 1 or less goals), and consistent winners on team totals over. Vancouver's offense has shown ability to score at least 2. My belief that Osgood would be in net and no matter how impressive Sanford may have looked, (or his defense in front of him), in the Pittsburgh game, he's still no Luongo.

One trend I do consider....Osgood is 8-2 O/U in his last 10 starts.

Luongo out 4-5 weeks

Report: Canucks goalie Luongo to be out four to five weeks

VANCOUVER, B.C. — It looks like the Canucks could be without goaltender Roberto Luongo for four to five weeks.
That's the word from Luongo's agent Gilles Lupien, according to cyberpresse.ca.
A suspected groin problem forced Luongo to leaves five minutes into Saturday's 3-1 win in Pittsburgh.
He was hurt making what appeared to be a routine save on a shot by Philippe Boucher. He slowly collapsed to the ice and was assisted off while favouring his left leg.
Curtis Sanford replaced Luongo in goal.
Luongo, 29, has a save percentage of .928 and goals-against average of 2.17 this season.

thanks vic...

was just listening to some pregame stuff...

No Cleary or Holmstrom tonight and a couple of other wing fowards are game time decisions.

I got think the nucks will try and trap the hell out of the wings tonight and keep the shots to a minimum. With no Bobby lou to bail them out they will need to be sharp defensively & stay out of the penalty box.

Both teams are hotter than hell winning 7 out of 8, so that brings me a favorite profile. When two good teams meet play the under - the reason why they are good is usually b/c of their defensive play.

I appreciate your guys opinions thanks..... I will be staying off this game and be pulling for an entertaining (high scoring) game.

Once again listening the team 1040 while working here they agent has denied he he has talked to this outfit. The MRI is being done currently and press conference will held tonight with the results, once the team doctors get to GM place.

There is no doubt that this is a serious injury, due to the nature of the injury and type.

A groin injury is painful at anytime let alone for butterfly goalie - Uh-Oh.

What a shame...I could have picked up +100 on VV, not counting my own likely 0-4
