I would rather lose backing Trump than win with some rinos
In the long run it's a bigger win to risk it either way
Perfect....

By the numbers: A new Emerson poll found Trump with a 30-point lead (55%-25%) against Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — up from a 26-point lead (55%-29%) over DeSantis in Emerson's January survey.

  • Trump wins a whopping 72% support among Republicans with a high school degree or less.
  • Emerson's poll also found Trump leading Biden, 46%-42%. DeSantis trailed Biden, 44%-40%.
The big picture: The findings in the Emerson poll, which has lately been favorable to Trump, were matched by three other top pollsters.

  • A new Yahoo News/YouGov poll has Trump opening up an 8-point lead on DeSantis (47%-39%), after DeSantis led the former president by 4 in the pollster's previous survey at the beginning of February.
  • The GOP polling firm Echelon Insights found Trump leading DeSantis by 15 points (46%-31%) on a national ballot test. Last month, the pollster found Trump only leading DeSantis by 2 points (36%-34%).
  • Fox News' first presidential primary poll, testing the GOP presidential ballot, found Trump leading DeSantis by 15 points (43%-28%).

I actually thought that number would be higher.

Perfect ...Ronnie's, Trump given nickname forthcoming.

Trump — who once endorsed DeSantis as his 'great friend' — slams the 'ungrateful' Florida governor, saying 'I made him,' report says

Privately, Trump now lambasts the man he once referred to as his "great friend," calling the Florida governor "ungrateful" for his earlier endorsement, The Washington Post reported.
"I made him," The Washington Post reported Trump told his aides while monitoring DeSantis' public appearances and polling numbers.
"I don't understand what happened here," The Washington Post reported Trump said of DeSantis' diminishing support. "I don't understand why he doesn't appreciate me more."

Trump has made similar comments before, criticizing DeSantis for his "dull personality."

Maybe Ronnie DullSantis works?
Playing out as I thought things would..Best part is I never figured the GOP going after reproductive rights.....What a sweet set up for 2024!

"Trashing conservative policies"

Is it time to call Ronnie D dead in the water?....doubtful.

Lol, Meatball Ron is getting his ass kicked in the early stages of their lawsuit against him, and reportedly several Republi-KUNTS are quietly telling him to knock it off, it's a war he can't win.

More and more Republicans are starting to beg Ron DeSantis to back off his fight with Disney, especially now that he is getting his butt kicked at every possible turn. Republicans including House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Florida Senator Marco Rubio are begging DeSantis to back off, likely because they know how bad this fight is hurting DeSantis' chances of winning a higher office someday. Farron Cousins discusses the losing fight that DeSantis is waging.

*This transcript was auto-generated. Please excuse any typos. More and more Republicans are starting to come out to beg Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, to please for the love of God stop this idiotic fight for di uh, with Disney. That of course got you sued this last week. And I believe it is the lawsuit itself that has a lot of Republicans terrified because they know that what Disney is alleging is 100% true. That Ron DeSantis is trying to punish them for speaking out about the, don't say gay legislation. Like they exercise their First Amendment rights as a company. And DeSantis says, I'm going to screw with you as much as I can because that's the kind of guy I am. Now Republicans, including Florida State Senate or Florida Senator Marco Rubio, and of course house speaker Kevin McCarthy, like the top Republican in the country, are telling DeSantis, stop. You are not going to win this fight. And if you allow this to continue. Now, I don't think they've said this part out loud, but we know they're all thinking it. If you allow this to continue, specifically the lawsuit, it's going to expose things that are basically going to guarantee that you are never going to win a higher office for the rest of your life. Because as I've said, when this lawsuit was filed and I originally talked about it, um, they're gonna go through discovery and Disney is gonna get their hands on the text messages, the phone calls, the emails, the memos. They're gonna get to have depositions, they're gonna get to talk to Florida lawmakers, they're gonna get to talk to DeSantis, but they're also gonna get to talk to the lower level staffers who had to do all this. Now, there's no way in hell that DeSantis had a vendetta against Disney and then did not instruct the Florida State legislature to do something about it, right? It's not a coincidence that as soon as DeSantis started beefing with Disney, the Florida State legislature was like, we'll, just strip a mother special tax district. No, no, no. You can't convince me that that is what happened, unless of course you had the hard evidence to prove it. But I'm willing to bet the hard evidence out there is gonna show that DeSantis instructed these idiot Republicans who will do whatever he says that you have to go after Disney. And all it takes is that one line doesn't matter if it's a text message, if it's, you know, multiple staffers confirming that they heard it, if it's in a memo, an email, whatever that one line go get them or anything to that effect. And Disney wins the lawsuit. But what it also does is it shows that one of the most prominent Republican governors in the country, if not the most prominent Republican governor in the country, it proves he abused his power. It proves that he cannot be trusted with that power. And while that may not turn off any conservatives in the country, it is sure going to turn off anybody who is a registered, independent, or anybody who considers themselves a more moderate Republican that wants to return to the days when Republicans were just horrible behind the scenes and didn't cause a scene while they were being horrible. He's not going to pick up any new voters, is the point I'm trying to make. And he's gonna lose quite a lot of 'em, which is why I say it will destroy his chances at winning a higher office probably for the rest of his life. And multiple Republicans have hung their hat on DeSantis. They view him as the savior from Trumpism, but this fight against Disney, which he has lost at every turn, is ruining that for him. But you know what, Ron? I'm gonna take a different route here, Ron. Keep it up, buddy. You don't let that Mickey Mouse tell you what to do. You don't take orders from goofy. Donald Duck can't intimidate you. So please keep doing what you're doing and fight this lawsuit by any means necessary till we can at least get through the discovery process and the depositions after that. I don't care what you do because it'll all be out there in the open and we'll all get to see how corrupt you are.

Meanwhile, back in reality:

According to Quinnipiac, the President sits at 40 percent approval. It’s even worse for the Grinnell College poll, showing Biden at just 37 percent approval and 50 percent disapproval.
