Could it get any more polarized than this??? I mean come on, who in the hell told anyone on the "right" that the "left" didn't want Saddam captured? Why does everything that goes right for Bush have to be a major strike against his political opponents? Can't this country sometimes have things that are good for AMERICA and not just for Republicans or Democrats. Poltics didn't use to disgust me so much, but these freaks out there have brainwashed people into thinking everything in life is a zero sum game. EVERYONE, including the anti-war people in Europe, are happy Saddam is caught and look forward to the future. The problem is if the gloating of some gets too out of hand, we will all be pissing at each other soon and instead of using this momentum to bring the world back on the same side, it will be wasted into just another case of partisanship. Stupid and ridiculous. Lets all celebrate the capture and worry about the political consequences later.

bill,

Funny/sad thing is, this place is a microcosm of what happened in the US after 9/11 as well. We had the world´s sympathy, their respect, and we threw it away all so fast because we divided it into us and them.

boogeyman..do we have to go into what this guy has done besides supporting the terroristd of the world, my kids are in a safer world, I'm sure you wished the German won world wat II also.

THE FIRST TIME, remember this guy was a madman, after he lost this war he killed 300,00 of his own people. The first Bush's greatest test came when Iraqi President Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait, then threatened to move into Saudi Arabia. Vowing to free Kuwait, Bush rallied the United Nations, the U. S. people, and Congress and sent 425,000 American troops. They were joined by 118,000 troops from allied nations. After weeks of air and missile bombardment, the 100-hour land battle dubbed Desert Storm routed Iraq's million-man army

Yes. We all know he is an evil man. An evil man who was set up and once supported by the US government.

It is good news that he´s in capitivity. Now we must hold those accountable who unleashed him on the world in the first place.

Hopefully we can put a multinational base on the SYRIAN BORDER. If those Osama loving Syrians try anything shady we can be right there. It could be used as a base to be used to drop food to the people for the time being. We will be there for a while digging out the 300,000 bodies of the Iragi citizens he put in Mass graves a s evidence for his trial, thanks.

If you're going to quote from another source (those little underscores are indicative of HTML) then at least give the original author some credit. Otherwise, that is just plagiarism.

Sorry, as a writer, I had to object to that.

Hey all , its time to party, the men and women of all the coalition Nations has worked hard these past months to bring an end to this dictator who is responsible for the deaths of some 300 US soldiers and over 400,000 of his own people. The world is a better and safer place because of this capture. Lets all enjoy the moment cause everyone, especially those who suffered directly from the autrocities that this tyrant was responsible for , is now at an end. Enjoy all, cause then tomorrow we still need to take care of business. There is still another bad boy on the lose that we are looking for, and thats Osama Bin Laden. You next, you long bearded monkey. But for now, I going to party up this capture and get drunk. Aloha CC.
