I like McDowell against Stricker......I like G-Mac's attitude when he is paired with the best

Tiger birdies the first 3 holes. McDowell hanging tough. Mickelson losing ground at the moment.

I can't find it today OMT on DTV. CBS has a triple header NCAA basketball line up on for the afternoon. Got a channel to tune in?

Phil really wanted that chip to go in on 18...he wanted to be paired with Woods....Lefty is a great competitor....I'm waiting for someone to say that Tiger didn't play a quality field this week....hahaha

Tiger should reclaim the number one player in the world very soon...Rory did birdie 5 of 6 holes today...love to see him regroup and looking forward to Tiger/Rory rivalry the rest of the year...

Agree about Rory. He seems to be putting stretches of golf together right now, 9 holes at a time or so. He doesn't seem to be far off........ Oh I forgot to mention, tiger is back to playing like the greatest of all time again. Haven't read one single post this year that says "those putts just aren't falling for him" or "he is too robotic/mechanical". I think he knew what he was doing folks

Seems you and I and maybe a couple others were still in Tiger's corner after what happened...I still would like to see him break Jack's record but more happy to see him come back to be almost as good as he was once before....54 putts in three rounds will be hard to top...

No doubt.....I was proud of my 31 putts last time out.....btw, I played golf last week with my dad and his old timers group. The guy that owns the course plays with them and had just gotten back from Thailand. He was telling us about the hot caddies for 300 bacht, i think he said that equals $10 or $15 bucks american, and the golf courses. I have now decided I will visit the land of smiles before my death......and I think tiger beats jacks record by a couple but ill take 19, hell I'd take 18 tiger has already outdone jack on everything g else anyways

I think I heard Johnny Miller say as the broadcast was going off for the day that Tiger's 54 hole putt total was the lowest of his career.

The caddies over here makes it a very enjoyable experience....I play 4/5 times a week.....the good thing is that you can book a caddy days in advance if you find a good one....the experience of playing with a woman caddy is amazing and it keeps your temper at bay....they are always happy and friendly...

Yea I read that too. And the amount of birdies he has made thru 3 rounds is a personal best as well

I see alot of you Tiger fans are pretty happy.. Great showing so far.. But lets calm down some .. Tiger might be #1 when it comes to winning WG events, but lets start winning majors again before we get to carried away here.. Whats it been ? 5 years or so ! BTW, I believe there are quite a few records Jack owns that Tiger is still looking up at.. Probably top 3 & top 5 finish in majors besides the 18 winners.. Has Tiger ever come from behind in a major and won ? Think Jack did that a few times...carry on gents, but lets keep it real..

How many times did Jack win wire to wire? Doesn't matter how you win, a win is a win....Red Eye, name me another player besides Nicklaus that has won more Majors....let's really get real....

We all know the answer to that VD.. I was just responding to a post about Tiger has outdone Jack on everything... He hasn't , which was my point..

Jacks 2nd place record is impressive. But I don't care how ma y times somebody gets beat so be can have that record if that's what you call it. Pretty sure tiger is not interested in finishing 2nd........and the come from behind deal? Come on now, who cares? If tiger plays well, nobody that has ever swung a golf club on earth can eat him. It's not his fault he is that much better than everybody else. Besides, it's a hell of a lot easier to play from behind than it is to play with a lead. This isn't brain surgery my friend

If its easier to play from behind, then how come Tiger hasn't won from that position.. He's been behind and in contention numerous times and never has won when he was trailing...

If he is playing from behind, he isn't playing well
