I am looking to post up with Pinnacle and wanted to know the typical fees associated with using WU to do so. Their website only tells me about online transgers. I know Pinnacle covers $1k+, but just want to know what kind of cash to bring with me to the location.

Thanks in advance.

Have you guys ever realized it always cost more to withdraw from a book via WU, rather then deposit it?

Its like about $34 CAD for me to deposit to a book to like Jamaica or Costa Rica (excluding the Quick Collect method - which is cheaper) but the normal person to person method. However, when withdrawing from a book it cost me around $57 USD or around that ballpark...

Anyone agree? Disagree?

Labeeb I think $70 USD will be sufficient w/ tax.

Yeah - I know the books charge EXTRA...

The only book that doesn't 'rip' me off in WU is Olympic and SIA since they have the Quick Collect method / which is cheaper for them to send money back too.

I think books are charging more than it costs them. Recently I payed $40 to send $500 and $45 to send $600. I don't remember exactly how much I payed to transfer $1000 but it was in the $50-$55 range. All US dollars.

WU is a nice option. To bad they are getting so damn intrigued with our personal business.

That's not necessarily true. WU fees do vary a little bit depending on where the money is being sent from and where it's going. Mainly because of taxes and stuff like that.

If I am reading you right that's not correct. Pinnacle will send you a Western Union as a withdrawal.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

This is true. To send to costa rica, panama or belize from Houston will cost $15 for $100, but to send the same amount to Ecuador is $11.99.

One thing that I have found great is the Preffered Customer Card from WU. For every $100 I send they give me 10 points to my card....and after 75 points you can have a free transfer of $100 without paying a dime for the transfer.

Fees are almost always picked up by the book anyway, just check their limit on it, for Pinnacle it is 1000 min, so have about 1200 ready or don't send money there via WU.

BetPanam & Hollywood up to $30, Casablanca up to $40, some will cover all the fees, like BHB and probably BlueGrass?
