I thought the big games, the Rose Bowl, Fiesta, Sugar and Orange were usually on the networks....thought fox usually got the sugar and fiesta and ABC the Rose and either ABC or CBS had the orange...

But noticed this year, that ESPN has had a couple of the BCS games.....is this the first year? Just seems that the networks would want these big games.....

Maybe it was included in a new package for ESPN....

I am sure the natn'l champ will be on Fox though....

thanks Bill, so in other words, NO, THEY WERENT on ESPN last year....i thought most were on Fox....and then ESPN had all those week night bowl games leading up to them....just seems odd to see games like the Sugar Bowl and Orange Bowl on ESPN....but they do a good job, its not a big deal, just not the norm

Fox has had the BCS (except for the Rose which ABC got to keep) since 2006 until this year. ESPN just signed the contract this year so they get ALL BCS games through the 2014 season.
