went to Vegas last weekend and...

stayed at the IP... Did the majority of my gambling at the bellagio and I must say they gave out plenty of comp drinks. So if you are looking for free drinks I recommend the bellagio. Side note: Vegas was happening last weekend as everywhere was extremely busy after 9:00 pm. I did okay while I was out there., not great, but definitiely not bad either. IP was a great location as it is in the middle of the strip.

Many dont know about the extra set of elevators that are behind the main set.

The elevator situation sucks at the IP. Its usually much faster though if you take the hidden elevators in the back.

hahaha....i stayed at the freakin IP back in college, and all I remember was the f'n elevators took FOREVER. and the breakfast buffet.....well, it was the worst free food i've ever had. packaged ketchups..really?

a few years ago I took the back elevator up to my room at 11pm woke up at 8am still in the elevator as it did not reach my floor yet

the IP will soon be on the discovery channel to be imploded

The secret elevators aren't so secret anymore.Sometimes there's a group of people waiting to use them. I use the the first bank of elevators nearest the front desk . It's just a longer walk down a hallway and you can get to your room w/out using the slow bank of elevators.

Harrhas isn't blowing up the IP anytime soon, they can't afford to.
