It's really pretty simple, if you're out pitching a tent, you're tresspasing on land that you don't legally own , go a few hundred meters deeper in the woods and be out of sight and nobody will notice your there . I don't have an answer for where to shower and shit and eat, but taking yourself as invisible as possible is a good start.
