Let me tell you, I was out at the Diamond earlier today and just can't believe the string of success they are putting together. Its a shame they couldn't do it though with a friend of mine Pat Kelly in charge of the club. He left after the 05 season, but imho is a great baseball guy. He needs another shot at managing.

What game are you watching? Two really bad pitches and 6 K's in less than 3 innings.

He's got 5 Ks.... but even Hamels has 4 Ks. You can credit the shadow with that.He's really not fooling anyone.... but let's see how he does without the shadow.

There really was only hype from one person. It seemed like a lot more. I'll give you that.

The kid deserves the hype he's received (which has been a lot, from many different sources). I'm on the Phillies myself, but this kid is going to be a very good starter.

Haven't really paid attention to the R-Braves in my time here in Richmond, but been kinda force-fed them since I work at the RTD. From what I can tell, they're just overachieving and doing it with smoke and mirrors...but I guess people are actually excited about 'em. I'll have to make it out to the Diamond sometime.
