Complaints about cable companies are legendary, but an online rant against Comcast on Wednesday got a response, and revealed a little more about the company’s practices.

Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Michael Pfleger took to Facebook to complain Comcast had told St. Sabina Church it could not send a technician out to fix Internet service at their employment center, because of violent crime in the neighborhood.

The post was shared hundreds of times, and five hours later, Pfleger posted that Comcast showed up after his complaint drew attention from social media and news media.

A Comcast spokesperson told DNAinfo Chicago the company canceled the appointment at St. Sabina, and five other appointments in the area, after Chicago police warned them about a possible spike in violence in the neighborhood. The company said it was looking out for the safety of its employees, and rescheduled the appointments for Thursday.

Well now they have to send 2 techs and 2 bouncer types to protect those techs while they work at multiple jobs. So the costs of paying all those extra workers gets passed onto the subscribers.

If only these neighborhoods would start electing republicans. If there is one thing that can straighten out life long criminals, it's an old white guy talking about no abortions and God.

Imagine if Comcast levied a "security surcharge" in these Dem ghettos...liberal heads across the country would explode!

Aren't there some areas of the south side that even cops won't patrol?

Not surprised Comcast's van crew doesn't feel terribly safe.

Btw, anyone want to tell me what the "community organizer" accomplished for his old neighborhood, other than making people feel angry and like 'victims' for his own greedy, selfish political ascension?

As I've said before, if Chicago's Mayor where a white Republican and not a white Democrat, the BLM activists would be on TV every day screaming that the mayor is allowing a black genocide to take place in the city.

The hypocrisy is just appalling.
