The truth about medicare / medicaid benefits
1) Obamacare subsidies are not expiring December 31, 2025, they never expire. Enhanced credits implemented by Biden during the pandemic expire. The democrats passed the bill and set the expiration date. People making $ 250,000+ are eligible for these "enhanced credits". We were laughing when high income taxpayers started receiving refunds they didn't need.
2) The democrats are now conceding that their Obamacare didn't work as they promised. Costs did not decrease $ 2,500 per family, they never did decrease at all. As a matter of fact, they increased across the boards. The answer is NOT to make their pandemic era laws permanent, the answer is the rewriting of a failed system.
3) When they argue they want the trillion dollar cut to medicare restored, they are arguing they want to restore healthcare benefits for illegals. That's what is included in the trillion dollar cut. The Republicans are telling the truth. The democrats and their always enabling media are lying.
4) Citizens and legal residents are not impacted with cuts to medicare with the following exception. Able bodies are expected to work 80 hours per month, a whopping 20 hours per week. And work doesn't even have to be a job. It could be volunteer work or caregiving. Able bodies are expected to give something back. Oh the horror of such draconian demands. Where do you think the country falls if they ever tell the truth?
