PARENT OF THE YEAR— this dad STORMED out of work mid-shift to yank his kid from school after they hosted an anti-ICE walkout: “I have to leave work cause while I work, I have to worry about you manipulating my kids! IT’S BS!”

CARTEL CRACKDOWN: The ATF says agents have seized more than 36,000 illegal firearms and roughly 2.3 million rounds of ammunition since President Trump took office. Items collected originated with gang members and transnational criminal organizations, among others, the bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms said.

A baby macaque named Punch melted hearts at a Japanese zoo by clinging to a stuffed orangutan as keepers hand-raised him. Punch is now living with a troop of macaques and slowly learning how to make friends — with his plush toy still at his side.

of course they did

  • The Israeli government (via the Israeli Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York) installed and maintained security equipment, alarms, and surveillance systems at the apartment building at 301 East 66th Street in Manhattan, starting in early 2016 and continuing for at least two years.
  • This building was controlled by Jeffrey Epstein, though technically owned by a company linked to his brother Mark Epstein; it was notorious in Epstein's network for housing underage models and being loaned to associates.
  • Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak frequently stayed at the apartment for extended periods during this time.
  • Rafi Shlomo, director of protective services at the Israeli mission to the UN and head of Barak's security, coordinated with Epstein's staff (including assistant Lesley Groff) to arrange installations, conduct background checks on employees, and control access.
  • A January 2016 email exchange between Nili Priell (Barak's wife) and an Epstein assistant discussed installing alarms, six window sensors, and remote access control; Priell noted the system could be remotely neutralized by contacting Rafi Shlomo at the consulate.
  • Epstein personally approved the invasive installations, with an email quoting him as saying: “Jeffrey says he does not mind holes in the walls and this is all just fine!”
  • The setup was tied to Israeli law providing ongoing security protection for former prime ministers, extending to this private residence.
  • Additional coordination occurred in 2017 (e.g., February meetings at the Israeli mission, employee access lists in January, and updates on Barak's visits through November).
  • Yoni Koren, a longtime aide to Barak (with a background in Israeli military intelligence and covert operations), was another frequent guest at the apartment over multiple years, including periods in 2013–2015 and up to 2019.
  • Evidence comes primarily from recently released Department of Justice emails, plus cross-referenced leaked emails from Barak's inbox, calendars from House Oversight Committee investigations, and prior reporting on the building.

A Washington, D.C., grandmother who lost her grandson to gun violence delivered a fiery defense of President Donald Trump during a Black History Month celebration Wednesday at the White House.

Forlesia Cook’s grandson, Marty William McMillan Jr., was killed in 2017 at the age of 22. Cook has since spoken publicly about the loss, including testifying before Congress about his killing

After Trump invited Cook to say a few words at the event, she used the moment to defend him, urging critics to "get off the man’s back."

"I love him, I don't want to hear nothing you got to say about that racist stuff," she said. "And don’t be looking at me on the news, hating on me because I’m standing up for somebody that deserves to be standing for."
