Price of crude oil has dropped about 25% since inauguration day. From $ 78 to $ 58

The fact that prices at the gas pump didn't drop by 25% is because

Refining costs
Transportation costs
Labor costs

Inflation impacts the oil industry too. Plus there is some short term profit taking as prices drop (always is) so the price drop lags at the pumps
