ND-8.5
Big # for a team with a losing record but like the matchup. The only thing Navy can do on offense is run, the only thing ND can do well is stop the run. The undersized Navy team will have a tough time stopping the run even though they know that is all ND can do. Looking for a low scoring game. 24-14 ND. Maybe wrong but worth a bet to me. GL

Any comments are welcome in my thread either for or against any of my plays. I think some posters are afraid to disagree with someone's picks in a thread. That is just plan stupid. I doubt a dissenting view will change my mind but it might change how much or less money I may play on a game.

I remember last year every week someone would disagree with my plays and state why. THis year I bet I haven't had 4 posters disagree with me in my thread. Consensus is not always good.

I have to disagree with you on Notre Dame. Yes they have played good teams and Yes Navy really hasn't..other than TCU, But I can't bring myself to wager on ND as more than a touchdown fav.
Navy is 6-1 ATS this year 2-0 as an away dog, 3-0 as a dog.
ND is 0-2 as a home fav.
Yes ND will win this one, but I feel confident it will be by a touchdown or less.
If ND can't get up for FSU, WSU, USC, Mich, Purdue or Mich ST....what makes you think they can get up for Navy?
Final Score Prediction:
ND 21
Navy 16

I don't like the fact that ND gives up less then 3 yards a rush against some very good football teams. Most teams have put up some pretty good #s against Navy see(Rutgers). Not sure the Navy ground game will keep this close. All be it small It looks like NDs offense is finally getting some balance. By the way I hate ND so I am not looking through rose colored glasses. ND better be up for this game the way they have been embarressed this year.

Uconn -7

Better balance on both sides of the ball compared to Rutgers. Rutger's final scores in a lot of games have been decieving, a lot of backdoors to cover dd #s. Uconn at home laying 1 TD seems like a good #. Could be wrong Rutgers will probably come in with some confidence coming off a win and a bye week, but I think UConn is the better team. Maybe wrong but worth a bet. GL 34-24 uconn.

ND should roll! They play an NFL schedule compared to Navys high school card.

Will have a nice analysis for this game later. Hope she goes down to 7.

Pete,
I think it has a better chance of going to 10 then it does to 7. The lose to Delaware will cause alot of $ to be hitting ND. Only thing I don't know is if the wiseguy $ plays this game who they will take?
