NMex hung 21 quick points on them and then just toyed with the Cowboys the rest of the game.

Utah not over dynamic but the fewest points they scored this year is 25 at UM. They hung 42 on UNLV, 55 on USU, 30 on AF, 37 on Weber, 31 on OreSt

i'm not saying Utah -23 is the right play, I just find your reasoning faulty for betting on a very very bad and emotionless Wyoming team. They looked pathetic at NMexico and couldnt sustain a drive. 2 shutouts against BYU and UNM isnt very good

Tulane had a homecoming game versus Army. Look how that turned out. Is homecoming a really big thing in college football? especially in Wyoming?

I watched the BYU and UNM (man how sad) games and there is very little fire in the players or coaching staff. Maybe they get up for a home game against a ranked team....that I can see....which makes me not want to play UU. But I cant put my money on a lifeless squad like Wyo.

I have to agree with the rest of the guys here. Utah needs to make a statement and CRUSH Wyoming to retrieve the poll points they lost by barely beating Oregon State last week. Beating the lifeless Cowboys by more than -23 is definitely achievable.

Wyoming basically is DEAD MAN WALKING like other weak squads like Idaho and FAU.

I'll take Utah to crush Wyoming by at least 28 to 31 points! :aktion033

Wyoming (2-4) was shut out at New Mexico (3-3) last week, 24-0. The Cowboys gained just 201 yards and turned the ball over three times. On the season, Wyoming now ranks #119 nationally in total offense (257.2 yards/game) and dead last in the country in turnover margin (-2.3/game). Their average of 257.2 total yards per game is second-worst in the FBS ahead of only Florida International, and their 22 turnovers are the most.

Utah boasts the nation's #6 ranked rush defense, allowing just 65.5 rushing yards per game, and it seems unlikely that Wyoming will be able to find much offensive success this weekend. Given their tight win, Utah fell from #7 to #13 in the power rankings this week, while Wyoming fell from #91 to #109.

Among Football Bowl Subdivision teams, the Cowboys have the fewest touchdowns (six) and fewest points per game (9.3).

Wyoming has been outscored 91-3 in Mountain West play, including shutout losses to BYU and New Mexico in its last two conference games.
