Week 5

Thursday Night:

Minnesota +9 (@ GBy)

So Bridgewater sits. I think that improves Minny's chances. Rookie in his first road start is rarely a good thing. I'm expecting the QB to play off the run game tonight. We should see a lot of Matt Asiata and Jerrick McKinnon as Minny's beefy O line opens holes against the Pack's small front seven. And Ponder will run a few himself when needed. He gets a bad rap but Week 12 last year he brought the Vike's into Lambeau and forced a 26-26 tie. He also managed a ten win season in 2012 throwing 18 TDs against 12 picks. And he should be nice and relaxed against a Pack pass rush that has only produced 6 sacks in 4 games.

And I'm not clear that the Pack is back. 11 TDs in 4 games for an Aaron Rogers team is hardly the dominating offense he engineered in the past.

Good luck guys.

Thank you Wolf. "so far".

Well I sure started with a stinker. Minny got smoked on Thursday. Pats got smoked by KCy on Monday. Maybe the good luck in this thread is turning. Hope not.

Indy -3 (+111) (vs Bal)
Balty has had three of their first four games at home. Time to be tested on the road by a good team.

Dallas -6 -102 (vs Hou)
The Cowboys have the best running game in Foots. Romo, when he's not pressured to win the game all by himself is a good QB. Both teams motivated. 3-1 vs 3-1 in the battle for Texas. I'll take the better team at home and lay the points.

Tenny +1 -107 (vs Cle)
I like Cleveland. But it's Tenny's chance to save a season that has turned bad since winning at Kansas City in their opening game. Cleveland is in their class strata. Should get it done.

New Orleans -10 +104 (vs TBy)
Saints 24 hurries leads the NFL. Mike Glennon won't have it so easy in the Dome. The last three times the Bucs came to Mardi Gras City they are 0-3 SU and 0-3 ATS by combined scores of 110-33.

Jacksonville +6 (vs Pit)
Sorry. Pitt just isn't good enough this year to be a road fav by almost a TD. The Jags get only their second home game. Time for them to show up.

Arizona +7' -109 (@ Denver)
The Desert Cardinals are 6-2-1 ATS their last 9 on the road. Beat three teams with .500 or better records this year. Watch out Peyton. Your 0-3 ATS record is about to go to 0-4.

oh boy, didn't want to see that last one. Hey Mich, do you think McDaniels should be fired? He's pretty cocky, and now Brady not having input to the offense. Also, do you think if they don't start winning more, will they think about getting rid of Brady? Hate seeing what's going on with this team. I know, send Brady to the Raiders, he can be home with the family and Gruden will become coach if he knows he has Tommy for a QB. (still a Raider fan at heart)

Well everything changed last night cruising. Brady ran for first downs. Revis shut down Greene. The O & D lines did their jobs. The running game got emphasized. Jeckyl replaced Hyde. I lost my bet, but I'll gladly sacrifice my bet for the team I expected going into the season. We got a glimpse of that team last night. Finally. Think Oakland is gonna have to look elsewhere for their QB. Sorry bud.

Fade away boys and girls. I don't know what a winner looks like this week.

Monday N:
