As many remember, when it is early in the season it would help to decide who was going to cover ats and fail to cover ats by breaking up categories like.....
All favorites of 2pts or less................8-2 ats
All favorites of 4pts..........................6-1 ats
All favorites of 15+pts......................5-0 ats
Home favorites of 2pts or less............6-1 ats
Home favorites of 7pts or less............14-4-2 ats
Home favorites of 8-10pts..................1-8 ats
Road favorites of 4pts........................3-0 ats
Road favorites of 15+pts....................3-0 ats

But seeing as it's week 5 with plenty of game results under its belt, the chart is already getting pretty specific so individual #'s should take priority.

I'll get the insights up for additional fuel as soon as I can.

Looks like the following are plays based on the Indiv numbers:
TB
Philly
Stl
Den

you can prob add Buff and Cincy based on the categories Game used in his orig post.

Anyone want any to check me? Good luck :toast:

Chris ....right on the money with the plays, but I would leave off Cincinnati as they're only 1-1 on the year...

Forgive my ignorance but can someone explain how to use the #s to make plays? New to this thread. Any help is appreciated.

It is fairly simple. You take the numbers for the teams and subtract the two. You then take the result to the cover chart and see if there are any win or loss trends for that result. If there is, you bet accordingly.

Example: Jax 109 Tampa Bay 111 subtract the two and you get Tampa as a 2 point fav according to these numbers (not Vegas line). Go to cover chart and since Tampa is at home you look at HOme Favs of 2. YOu see that there are currently 5 wins this season when the numbers show a home fav of 2.

THe Numbers have a fairly good success rate. Just use these as another tool in your handicapping arsenal. Good Luck!!

Both game Pit/Sdc and Was/Atl are home favor of 10 and fit this "Home favorites of 8-10pts..................1-8 ats"; so the plays are WAS and PIT.
