cinci -3
1. still not impressed with seattle. they can't block and wilson can escape sometimes and make plays, but you can't keep doing that and not expect some disasters to happen i.e. fumbles, sacks possible wilson injury etc
2. seattle d is really impressive against 2 hapless offenses (bears and lions) but what can they do against a good offense without the crowd noise to help them get off the ball 0.5 seconds faster than the o-line? we know they can give up 34 points to a rams team, and 27 to a lions team. i can see cinci scoring 24 points at least and that should be enough to win the game by a td or more.
3. kam chancellor is a great player but his impact on the defense might be a little overrated. dont know if he did it purposely but he made he debut against the chi bears offense (w/ no jay cutler or alshon) and then the hapless lions so the narrative is "wow! seattle d has forced 118 punts out of 20 offensive possessions!!" its impressive but not quite mind blowing when you look at who they played, both of which were home games.
4. cinci d should be able to shut down seattle offense. seattle offense has scored a whopping 32 points in the last two games combined (counting bears game as 19 pts because of locketts punt return). that was at home. i see no reason they can score more than 16 pts against the bengals.

i agree..line seems a little light here...seattle still getting too much respect, imo...

u just cannot watch this seattle offense and feel good about it...as much as i like wilson, his ball security is horrendous..

we also have a west coast team, that played monday night, flying to Ohio for a 1:00 start

solid play, seattle continues to be over rated

I kind of like the Bengals as well.......I know Cinci can score more than Seattle, but will Cinci's offense be able to penetrate Seattle's defense......I think they can, they're not as pitiful as the Lions offense.

I'm also thinking Bengals defense will get to Wilson quite a few times......

this will also be my play of the week. Cincy D is way too much for Sea O-L to handle. They forced the Chiefs to kick 7 FGs, out of the 7 FGs 3 was inside the 20 of Cincy. Chiefs O-line is a lot better than Sea O-L. As far as Cincy offense, Dalton looks like he's having his best season so far in his career. Their O-line is pretty solid as well. Cincy win by 10. Points will be score off wilson turnovers and good field position. BOL to y'all. Let's win some $$.

thanks, love hearing the feedback although some dissenting opinions would have been nice to hear as well.

next pick is Patriots -9
1. i waiting too long to get on this but hearing greg hardy pop off about guns blazin' and brady's wife etc was the tipping point. i wanted to play pats when line came out but didn't want to make a play without thinking it all the way through. plus i was/am nervous about the fact that almost no one will be backing the cowboys in this game but then greg hardy's comments hahaha
2. playing large road faves will typically get you poor but the pats and specifically bellichik are not typical. i remember games i have bet on the pats only to lose the cover because they decide to take a safety, but i have also seen them cover ridiculous double digit spreads on the road and stood idly by because...let's face it... who does that??
3. i believe pats are in the 2007 mode where no spread it too large, and i'm jumping on the train for this week and next week vs the colts. its them thumbing their noses at the nfl and all the fans that hate them and try to say they won because of deflate gate.
4.cowboys missing their two best players, plus one of the other rb tore his acl. this team is reeling. yes, they get greg hardy but the guy hasnt played in 19 games... he is not going to make an impact right away. well, not a positive impact at least. i think he made a negative impact with his comments. sean lee might play and rolando mcclain is back but pats will get their 30+, the question is can dallas get to 21? i don't think so.

redskins +7
1. playing with fire picking the reskins two weeks in a row but atl comes down to earth a little. redskins have a good/possibly great d and a running game. a running game is something the falcons havent had to deal with yet this year.
2. falcons have a look ahead game with n.o. next week.
3. roddy white disgruntled even though he claims he isn't. there wouldn't be a story if he wasnt' disgruntled though. kind of like when you ask your wife what's wrong and she says nothing.
4. julio jones is not fully healthy, and hankerson has some kind of thumb problem.
5. falcons are probably reading their press clippings and feeling real good about themselves after their 4-0 start and especially in how easily they dispatched the texans.
6. i think they eek out a win, but a loss wouldn't totally surprise me, i will take the 7 points.

GL on the plays like them, addin the fact that Greg Hardy just called out Brady's wife and Brady is aware/pissed off about it... Pats to the bank this week even if its the public/square play.
