cinci -3
1. still not impressed with seattle. they can't block and wilson can escape sometimes and make plays, but you can't keep doing that and not expect some disasters to happen i.e. fumbles, sacks possible wilson injury etc
2. seattle d is really impressive against 2 hapless offenses (bears and lions) but what can they do against a good offense without the crowd noise to help them get off the ball 0.5 seconds faster than the o-line? we know they can give up 34 points to a rams team, and 27 to a lions team. i can see cinci scoring 24 points at least and that should be enough to win the game by a td or more.
3. kam chancellor is a great player but his impact on the defense might be a little overrated. dont know if he did it purposely but he made he debut against the chi bears offense (w/ no jay cutler or alshon) and then the hapless lions so the narrative is "wow! seattle d has forced 118 punts out of 20 offensive possessions!!" its impressive but not quite mind blowing when you look at who they played, both of which were home games.
4. cinci d should be able to shut down seattle offense. seattle offense has scored a whopping 32 points in the last two games combined (counting bears game as 19 pts because of locketts punt return). that was at home. i see no reason they can score more than 16 pts against the bengals.
