The first game I like i involves an ACC-Big East Matchup. Here I like the home team. This team happens to be
N.C. State and they are playing Pittsburgh. First, N.C. State is in a home momentum system and the last time this system popped it involved Texas Tech against Texas and the Michael Crabtree play. However, that is just one reason. What sticks out to me is their QB Russell Wilson. Obviously, he had a rought start in his first game against South Carolina, but since then he has thrown 8 TDS and 0 INTS against softer competition and I think this makes him more confident. Remember last year he had an insane 17 TD to 1 INT ratio. I think this is trouble for a Pittsburgh team that was outstatted by Buffalo 500-381 despite winning 54-27. Basically, Pitt benefited from alot of turnovers in that game. What is more alarming is that the Panthers gave up 433 yards through the air. Furthermore, Buffalo is an underdog to Temple which is a team that lost to a Division I-AA. On top of that the N.C. State defense has been tremendous even though it is against softer foes. Giving up 168 yards per game after three weeks is impressive no matter who you are playing. N.C. State lost their last big home game against South Carolina, but I think they get it done here.
TAKE N.C.STATE -1
