Tennessee -5 (vs Hou)

Goin' ga ga over this team.

I'm convinced that as long as Fat Albert Haynesworth stays healthy, they'll just smudge anyone's running game (see Jax 33 yds). When a team can do that playin' defense gets alot easier.

On the offensive side of the ball they move way up now that Kerry Collins has supplanted Vince "oh no mamma tell 'em not to make me go back in" Young. Collins didn't get to display his skills last week in Cincy as the winds were howlin' at 65 mph. They've also got a rook rb, Chris Johnson, who's got 4.2 speed and is an excellent changeup from the bull, Len Dale White.

I've always thought Jeff Fisher was one of the best coaches in the NFL. Now he's got the right, healthy talent package.

Ga ga baby!

Cincinatti / NYG Under 42

In their first two games Cincy has allowed the opposition, Bal, and Tenny, to run the ball for over 40 times each. I looked back to '01 (inclusive) for teams who also allowed their opponents to run the ball 40+ times for two consecutive weeks. In their next game such teams were 11-5 to the Under; 2-0 when on the road.

Indianapolis -4' (vs Jax)

Two teams playing way below expectations. Who's gonna break out today? In their first two games Jax has run the ball for a total of 131 yards. That's way out of character as Jax was built to run the ball. In their first two games Indy has thrown the ball for 536 yards but has only gotten it into the endzone once in each game via the pass. I'm expectin' Indy to get it into the endzone more than once via the overland route while Jax continues to struggle totin' the rock.

More comin'. I think.

Miami +13 (@ NEn)
Run Ricky run. Run Ronnie run.

Azo/Was Under 43'
Two teams determined to run the ball. Each with a pretty good pass defense.

Baltimore -3 (vs Cle)
How's Cleveland gonna score against this defense?

5-2 start.

Been waitin' on this baby all day. Got the extra 1/2 point I was hopin' for. Like this baby lotsa lot.

ADD:

Green Bay Smackers +3' (vs Dal)

Over the past 5 years, teams who start the year 2-0 SU and 2-0 ATS are 10-3 ATS when playin' their third game at home. 4-1 ATS as Home Dogs. 2-0 ATS when Home in a spotlight game.

Grab those generous points and dream sweet dreams as you fall asleep fondlin' your fondue and beer.

Good luck.

Dallas sure looks like the team to beat this year at this early point in the season. And early returns say the SB winner will come out of the NFC. NFC 6-2 vs the AFC thusfar this year.

Tonight:

San Diego -8' (vs NYJ)

The whimpy damned Jets jet cross country to get their sorry asses reamed tonight.

They let me down big time last week when they had my Patsies in New York by using the whimpiest offensive gameplan I have ever seen. I expected the demise of the Patriot dynasty to start in New York. Nope it waited 'till yesterday in Foxboro where Miami, who had been 1-20 in their previous 21, got creative with their offensive gameplan and pummelled the Patsies who had lost only twice (SB '07 and AFC Championship '06) in their previous 23.

The Jets suck!

The Bolts will get that offense crankin' and the Jets won't come close to keepin' up.

And here's a little juicy one I researched:

In the last three years the Chargers have appeared in spotlight games (Sun or Mon night) 9 times. They have won and covered 7 of those 9 times. Their only two losses? '05 Pit, the SB winner; and the '07 Patriots, the 18-1 SB loser.

Good luck guys.
