Last week had to be the worst NFL week I've had in 2 years. Too many plays, too many units and poorly capped. I still think the NFL has such parity, it almost seems like situations and angles have more influence over the games than talent- that and turnovers. I'll be out of the country for 2 weeks so won't be posting much. We'll see.

YTD: 9-9 -7.35 units. Sorry about the short write ups.

Chicago +3 (-125) 3 units. I was wrong about the Jets last week even though they did cover. After getting a 14-0 lead they looked like shit. They are undisciplined and make mistakes often not seen on other NFL teams. Rex Ryan could lose this team if they lose a few more games early on. Very impressed with the Bears come from behind victory and can see an offense that can be explosive. Jets running game flatlined last week along with Geno Smith- who I also overestimated.

Pittsburgh +3 (+100) 2 units. The Steelers are such a reversal of what they used to be- a usually good offense but a suspect defense. I know Carolina has been on a roll, but they will miss Hardy and maybe RB Williams. The Panthers are just not that good to be 2-0, berating a terrible Tampa team and a flat Lions team.

Ny Giants -1 (-110) 2 units. The Giants are not nearly as bad as they have looked. They are well coached and will make adjustments to offset their OL problems. The Giants D is actually pretty decent, but they are always on the field in short field situations due to TOs. The Texans are playing a proud and desperate team.

Seattle -5 (-110) 2 units. We won't see a repeat of the Super Bowl. The Chargers played a near perfect game last week, but this Seattle team is still the class of the league, and at home. Peyton is looking a little less mobile, his passes a little less zippy, and the Broncos(like Seattle) have faltered on the road.

Washington +6. One unit. The Eagles have been amazing in the 2nd half this year, but the Redskins have a much better D the anything the Eagles have seen. Kirk Cousins has been better than RG 3 and hopefully he'll get to keep the starter's job. His offense just clicks so much better with him. Washington can win this one.

Cleveland +2.5 (-105) One unit. The Browns have as much enthusiasm as I've seen in an NFL team. They are a great home dog vs. a somewhat inconsistent Ravens team. I'm riding the Browns at home until they lose one.

5-0 I think, with Bears pending. Because of last week's losses, I lowered my units. Figures.
