Everyone and their brother knows how the Jets are invincible vs. the G-men and I expect the number to rise as the week progesses. I may come back to try to middle once this hits -3.5 or higher.

The pos Coach might actually play well now that he is regulated to becoming a $7 mill per year backup. Butch Davis will be trying really hard to win this one since Clev is winless in the preseason. I bet pos Coach doesn't play like a pos now that the "pressure is off" and he will have something to prove against Detroits second and third stringers.

Jeff Fisher is quoted as saying he is going to give the starters significant playing time. My only fear is that O'Donnell may be really rusty (he has sucked the last few years anyway) and deprive Billy "bookiekiller" Volek of playing time.

Cowpokes seem to have found some offense, Carter and Hutchinson will be playing hard the entire game to see who gets the starters job, no slackoff with Parcells, he was supposedly screaming at the team for their sloppiness even after their blowout vs. Houston. It would not suprise me to see Dallas keep this to one or no turnovers.

No doubt Pitts will be moving the ball, esp. in first half with Maddox in the grove and both Zeroue and the Bus running hard (the "Bus" always seems to have good games when they are meaningless but folds when it matters).

Belichick has indicated in the media that he is throwing in the towel on this game, saying he is going with a "barebones" gameplan and wants to avoid injuries to starters. When I hear a preseason spread king like Belichick say "barebones" I sit up and take notice. The Eagles stable of qbs should come through, even though AJ Feeley will sit.
