A link to Week 1 plays:

http://www.therxforum.com/showthread.php?p=5741656#post5741656

Alright well that was not a very good Week 1 but Week 2 seemed to do a little uplifting for me. The site was down so no recorded record on site so we will keep all wins and loses out of the record here. Week 3 seems to be confusing with all of the tOSU vs. USC hype going around it has been extremely difficult for me to look into much else!

UAB +30 vs. Tennessee: I have been around the UTK practice field and they have been going in nuetral at practice. They seem very lathargic and I do not see this team beating UAB by 30 points with Florida on the helm next week. It seems like even if they get up by that large amount the second teir and their teir players will be in for garbage time and thats when UAB could back door. I see too many oportunties for UAB to cover and is why I am 90% sure they will be a play this week. This will still be a smaller unit play do to the fact that Tennessee has so many playmakers that did not get the ball last week and if they did this week... watch out. I think Hardesty will continue to get more and more carries. He seems to be the back. Foster is still held in there because of the record he is approaching. 6.5 yards per carry against UCLA is a scary stat. I will be in attendance and hoping for a 31-3 win. :103631605

Michigan -1 vs. Notre Dame: Michigan is another team that I have been tailing for two weeks straight, resulting in a 0-2 start for me. It is only a matter of time before the OL picks it up and Threet gets comfortable with his surroundings. Notre Dame looks like the same Notre Dame of late and seemed even less disciplined on the defensive side of the ball. I think this Notre Dame defense misses assignments against Michigan and the spread and causes some big plays leading to points. As pointed out on another thread, Notre Dame left points on the field against SDSU and I'm not sure they will even be in the position to leave them against the Michigan defense. The Michigan defense will be ready and the offense will be clicking better and better each week. The play here is Michigan.

NC State vs. Clemson -18.5: Clemson is a great team that simply was not ready for Alabama. I think they can come out here and get their offense ROLLING. NC State has looked attrocious at times and show no signs of light vs. a South Carolina team. The QB play of Smelley was too much for the Pack to handle and I see Cullen Harper having a great day throwing to Stuckey and Spiller and Davis out of the backfield. Clemson also will be able to stick to their running attack through out the game. NC State defense looked okay early but the lack of offense took a toll on them vs. USC. I see this game maping out to be Clemson up 7-13 at half and a romping in the second half. I have doubted the ACC all season but this week I have three plays on them. Next UNC and Maryland.

UNC +6 vs. Rutgers: The Rutgers looked like they had no idea what was going on vs. Fresno State and simply did not have enough man power on the offensive line or defensive line to cause an impact. Their playmakers have a ton of speed but Teel rarely had enough time to make an accurate throw and to get them in space. They were also unable to perform in the red zone, and that is where it matter. Rutgers kicker was horrendous on FGs and I definitely see an advantage to the UNC special teams which could play a vital roll in this game. UNC and Rutgers are very evenly match and I can see T.J. Yates doing some damage with the WR corre of UNC. Greg Little averages 5.1 a carry in 2007 but had difficulties getting is going vs. McNeese State which has me worried. I look forward to the game and it appears the public is hitting Rutgers hard. Look forward to the Thursday Night special!

California vs. Maryland +15: Ah yes, the Terps! The Terrapins sturggled mightily vs. the Blue Raiders in Murfreesboro this past week and had many problems at the QB positiion. Turner had these same problems early last year and blossomed into some what of an okay QB for the Terps later on in the year. Scott has had two tremendous games and continues to run the ball hard behind this O-Line. Josh Portis, the transfer from Florida, continues to grab reps at the QB spot to come in for draws and options. Turner simply forgot about his greatest target of them all Heward-Bey. This kid is a play maker and you can bet that he will be getting the ball more often this week. I look for him to have a great day and for Turner to get things rolling. If the Terps can stick to the run and keep an honest passing game this should be an easy cover. The Golden Bears are also having to travel across the country for this game and are seen as great favorites. Ralph Friedgon always starts off slow... but gets the ball rolling. Lets see if he has it in him this Saturday.

A write-up on the tOSU vs. USC game will be avaibable when I get more news on Beanie Wells.

That is all the insight I have for these games. I will be making some 1-2 unit plays else where but here was the information I had at hand. BOL to everyone this weekend! I have been looking at Purdue +8.5 at home vs. Oregon.

I am banking that he gets that ball rolling as well. Good luck here. PS if you like Purdue I think grabbing the over also makes since. No way they beat Oregon unless it turns into a shootout...

Ah yes, that is a very good observation. I do not see Oregon's defense stalling against much of anyone (outside of USC) this season. I was waiting on my West Coast guys to come around here and try and steer my the right way. Do you think Oregon blows them out at Purdue?

Conan, UoD, or any of you guys that know that demon Pac-10 come in and let me know! Besides, anyone see this David Hasselhoff video? SO funny.

Yes I think Oregon will have way too much team speed for them. I think that the ducks will be very impressive ala Mich. game last year. Only team that has been able to match the ducks speed in last two years in that regard was USC.

Week 3 College Football Plays:
UNC Tar Heels +6 (5 units)
UAB Blazers +30 (2 units)
Michigan Wolverines -1 (4 units)
Maryland Terrapins +15 (4 units)
Clemson Tigers -18.5 (3 units)

That will be it for right now. I hope to get off to a very good start this weekend and am looking into the Kansas vs. South Florida game. I think special teams are essential to winning a ball game and the initial spark to the game tomorrow is Kansas has the better special teams. A quick edge always makes it a little easier.

BOL to everyone tonight and through out the weekend.

UoD,

I appreciate the advice and have laid off the game as of right now. If the line continues to creep upward I do not think i can hold off anymore and will be laying the Boilermakers at home. BOL to you this weekend in the Pac-10. Any thoughts on the Michigan vs. Notre Dame game; I'm open ears.

Agree With Your Clemson -18.5 Play!

Agree 100% with your Clemson -18.5 selection. After getting whacked by Alabama in its season opener, Clemson dispatched The Citadel and now opens its ACC season at home against an inexperienced and injured Wolfpack team. It’s hard to take an offense seriously that rushed for only 67 yards against William and Mary, yet that’s the best NC STATE could do. The story here though is Clemson’s two RB’s, James Davis and CJ Spiller, perhaps the best tandem in the nation. Add to them senior QB, Cullen Harper and his 1,000- yard receiver, Aaron Kelly and you have an offense NC State will be hard-pressed to deal with. The Wolfpack’s anemic offense, which ranks 116th in the nation, is out-matched and out-classed here.

Let's give the bookies HELL with a winner on Clemson -18.5 this Saturday!

Haha I completely agree here but after reading your post and mine again I called Aaron Kelly.. Stuckey. That was my mistake, the Brett Farve play against my beloved Dolphins has taken a toll on my posting abilities. The only question mark here for this bet would be that the Tigers know the exact numbers you gave me and don't take the ACC foe seriously.

BOL to us on the Clemson play and the rest of yours! :toast:

Ah what a relief to start a weekend on this winning side with five units. The Rutgers prove to be terrible, but not only terrible... terrible at home. That Big Easy has a lot of work ahead of them to get things back on track in that conference. I am leaning Kansas tonight for some Friday action but USF is pretty stingy and have not made a full decision upon that yet. BOL to everyone else!
