Getting these in before the line gets me:

Houston -5 for 3 units

Ball State -7 for 2 units

I see Rice line moving in my favor along with Bowling Green...Hammer away on Vandy public...They beat an awful Miami OH team and catch SC looking ahead at home in prime time and everyone thinks they are the best thing since sliced bread...I love it

Goal for the weekend is to be hitting around 62-65%...give my self a cushion for the harder part of the season coming up...good old conference play

Plays will most likely be between houston, rice, ball st, bowling green, kansas, cuse, south carolina and my personal favorite SMU...Also the SMU.Tex Tech over pending the number...I will try to eliminate these 9 down to 5 ...6 at most

A lot of my early leans after first look through...hope that's a good sign...Good luck and nice start. Back to the well again with Houston? What's the rationale on that one? Any thoughts on UB laying 6 to the owls?

I went to UB and they play the OWLS every year...I have learned to never touch this game...It's like taking wvu or ecu, or notre dame or michigan , or iowa iowa st...It's just a game that shouldn't be touched...As for HOUSTON this is a very similar game to Ball St and NAVY. A team that airs it out big time vs a team that is one dimensional. Houston is at home catching 5 against IMO a terrible Air Force team. I think HOUSTON , similar to BALL ST, scores early and often and AF just doesn't have the type of offense to play comeback and keep up with Keenum and the Cougar offense. Should be an easy win IMO

This week I do like Houston. On the fence if I like them enough to bet them though. Their defense simply has too many holes for my taste. Gl though as i think your on the right side.

I agree 100% with your Ball State -7 selection over Akron.

Both teams here can score the ball but Ball State has the more complete offense and a better defense than the Zips. They’ve scored 12 ppg. More per game and have given up 15 ppg less than Akron so far this season. Akron beat Syracuse last week sounds like a big deal but Syracuse is horrible; one of the worst big-name teams in college football this year. Nate Davis and Co. can hurt you through the air as well as on the ground. He’s completed an amazing 80.8% of his passes. Akron, behind QB Chris Jacquemain, moves the ball well. The Zips’ defense, though, has been unable to stop the run. They’ve given up 311 ypg rushing so far this season. The Cardinals’ Miquale Lewis should have a field day against Akron. When the Zips put “8 men in the box” to stop the run, Ball State’s Davis will have ALL-MAC WR, Dante Love, and a good corps of other receivers to pass to.

I just bet Ball State -7, so I hope that doesn't jinx it for us. :scared1:

Good luck to us with this play! :toast:

It's actually my least favorite of my picks but I still like it enough to bet it....I just don't like laying road chalk...but then again Akron is NOT as good as Ball ST...Not even close actually...Akron looked decent last week cuz they played the worst team in d1 football

Thanks for the shout back about the Ball State -7 play.

One question. If this is one of your "least favorite" plays, why is it a 3 unit one? Logically, if it's your least favorite, shouldn't be a 1 unit play? Perhaps you mistyped the numeral?

Best of luck with ALL your plays. :aktion033

I know makes little sense...meant for it to be a 2 unit play and Houston a 3 unit play but got em flip flopped...im gonnna leave it either way though...BALL ST could easily win huge...ill sit back and watch

Purdue Purdue Purdue....@ home catching more than a TD.

Oregon traveling a fair distance.
Purdue has better QB play.
Sheets played good last week and I look for that trend to continue all season.
Purdue is home...very , very ,very tough place to come out of with a win.
Oregon is gonna wanna play this game in the 30s or higher and IMO this favors the home team in Purdue. Painter is just another Purdue system QB and he fits in really well in the Purdue system....
I dunno...Oregon has played great the first two weeks but I think for such a unproven team, they are getting more respect than they deserve.
If they go on the road against a good Purdue team then oregon will have my attention but I honestly see Purdue winning this game SU. I'll gladly take the points

Serious Addiction

Love the Purdue pick!!!

As far as Bowling Green was concerned I really like this team and bet them in week 1. Bet them again in week 2 vs. Minnesota and they really disappointed me. Their defense leaves alot to be desired and I can't play them this week until they show some improvement on the defensive end.

Other games I like are Marshall, Oregon St. San Jose St.

Like the Kansas play. USF can move the ball between the 20's but seems like they can't finish drives. I think Kansas offense can win or at least keep it close. What do you think about Auburn playing one dimentional team Miss. St?
