I have seen a few threads on this and thought I would start one for this week. Briefly looking through the card I am almost sure I will take Tennessee. I looked through the Tenn schedule and there may be only one more time to take them (at home in Dec against St Louis but then weather may be an issue). Some of their other easier games are on road (like San Fran) but I hate picking a team on road..

WAS, stop thinking and put it in... If there is no spread you have to take WAS at home, end of story...

About Washington, keep in mind Spags is familiar with the Redskins. I think St.Louis makes it interesting.

I think the Vikings and Green Bay get it done.

I'll worry about Week 6 when I get to Week 6. Saving teams for down the road is bad strategy. Win Now!

Besides, there's plenty of other good matchups Week 6. Rams @ Jags. Chiefs @ Skins. Browns @ Steelers. Broncos @ San Diego.

You're wasting your time looking that far ahead to the future.

OK--and being a cheesehead it's probably a good idea for this week and I feel very confident they will win. I put my GB pick in for now! fashizzle!:cripwalk:

GB is a prime letdown candidate. Not sure that it will matter against the Bungles, but GB is coming off a dramatic and emotional victory in primetime against one of their main rivals, and now face a team from the other conference who has been bad for years.

Also, let's not forget that the Rams went into Washington in week 6 last year and won. It was one of their two wins on the year.

Having said that, I'll probably take GB and WAS with my two survivor entries, but it's something to think about.

I narrowed it down to gb, wash and Minnesota. Hate picking road teams though.

I can't stomach picking Jim Zorn. The guy is just absolutely clueless.

Him and Dick Jauron are cut from the same mold. They both find ways to lose football games.

Pack also gets back #1 pick BJ Raji and CB Wil Blackmon this week. Bigby is not playing but they have 2 great backups there as well. That D should stop the Bungles. I think they will be able to run better and the O line will work out the kinks.

I like my pick more and more...
