2-1 Overs
0-0 Unders

Thursday:

Thought I'd share a little of my homework.

Over the past 6 years 10 of 12 of these Pit/Balty games have been decided by 3 points or less. 11 of 12 have been decided by 4 points or less. Can't get much more competitive than that.

But here's where the edge seems to be. ALL of those 12 games came in under the current posted total of 44'. Repeat 12 for 12 Under 44'.

My play tonight:

Pit/Balty Under 44'

Good luck guys and gals.

Something else you may want to consider:

Baltimore was favored in their last six home games with Pit. They went 3-3 SU and 1-5 ATS in those games.

Good start with the Under on Thursday. Now 13 for 13 Under Thursday's posted number. Hope some of you guys benefited from what I found there. Most research is not that definitive, unfortunately.

Sunday:

Minny +5' (vs New England)
Grabbing this number now. Shoulda got the 6 that was available yesterday. The Pats got manhandled in the trenches last week on both sides of the ball. This line is driven by reputation past not current reality. And no running back is worth 3 points on the line. Matt Asiata will gash the Pats. I know it's only one game, but Minny DYPP was 10.5 last week. To put that into perspective, Seattle's was 12.5 for all of last year. Who led the NFL in sacks in Week 1? Yep, Minny with 5. Brady will feel the pressure from his bad O line. Minny rising. Pats falling.

Carolina -2' (vs Det)
Detroit is in a bad spot here. They just blew out a bad Giants team in Detroit. Now heading to Carolina, the team that finished 11-1 last year that no one respects, while looking forward to getting home to next week's opponent, Div rival numero uno, the Pack. Panthers come from behind the Carolina pines to bite the Lions.

So Dallas turned the ball over 4 times last week to none for Frisco and still only lost by 11 to the NFC's second best team last year. Clean those turnovers up and they will be right in this game with Tenny.

I don't think his O line will be the ones applying the pressure!! :missingte

Money is coming in on the Giants as I type. I'm guessing that this means that Andre Ellington will sit out today. Just a guess. If right, that's another overreaction to a running back change. The Desert Birds are 6-0-1 ATS when traveling to the northeast over the past five years. You may have forgotten that the Gmen lost their first 6 games last year. After last week it looks like they could repeat that dismal record.

Cincy -5' (vs Atl)
By my count Cincy has a nine game home winning streak going, both SU and ATS. Favored in 7 of those games. Favored in 6 of them by 6 or more points.

These guys moved the ball up and down the field in Houston (Excellent D) last week but couldn't punch it in. This week they get a team who forgot how to score in the second half against one of the NFL's most porous Ds, Philly. I'll take my chances that the REDSKINS can cross the goalline into their home end zone several times today.

N'awlins 0-5 ATS when favored on the road L5. Brownies 8-4 ATS as a HD last 3 years. Reverse line movement here as well.

Hi cruisin. That's what gives us line value. Pats can't possibly start 0-2. Well if they don't make some magical improvements to both offensive and defensive lines, they will. And the deal is that they can still win without covering.

GL cruisin.
