i think the falcons blew their load last week vs the saints. overtime game at home comeback win. bengals took an early lead on the road and cruised to victory. they are the real deal at home and atl is a soft team. bengals covered all of their home games last yr. they are a dark horse for me to win the sb. in the yahoo pool i'm in 62% picked the falcons. popular dogs are usually losers.

everyone saw detroit cream the giants on monday night football and no one saw car beat tb in probably the most boring game of week 1. det is a popular dog. detroit's 35 points were a bit misleading. broken coverage because of missed sacks by giants, turnovers setting up short field etc. nothing will come that easy against this panther d that is the real deal. yes, i know this is newtons 1st game with these receivers, but i believe carolina only needs to score about 24 to win this bet.

detroit is on a short week and traveling outside to a grass field. like the saints, they are a different team outdoors.
