I spoke to Game9000 many times for several years before his unfortunate passing (RIP my friend). I discussed with him a few additions i was going to make and he gave me his blessing to do so.Ace my understanding was after that 4th week. You basically dont up the ante or do more equations on the teams. I could be wrong but I specifically asked LV2KA this question this year or last and he basically each week after would do a running count on who was eliminated. The Patriots were never in it even after week 4. The post I will post next was from another site that LV2KA posted it at. I would not touch the Pack with Parsons injury and obviously the Colts in the second tier are dead.
Also almost every book does same game parlays. Hitting a 5 teamer is almost impossible and from a guy that has played parlays for a long time, I lost way more and could have saved money and just straight bet those 5 teams. I was always a leg short in a parlay.
I didn't make changes to the "groups" keeping it a 1st 4 week system as he had it. What i did do was backrest ot for the last 22 seasons and included playoff seeds and how each qualifying team based on groups (Tiers) and playoff seeds (#1-#7) finished, which allows you to narrow down the field of qualifiers. I also spent hrs backtesting the last 22 seasons to determine which groups have not only never won the Super Bowl but also never participated in the Super Bowl. That's what eliminated the hot Rams last year and I've team in that same situation this season. (The team I've eliminated for this season everyone is talking about as a AFC winner). That particular team will be a fade for new until they lose in the playoffs.
I've added a lot of info, like I said to narrow down the teams for a future "Super Bowl Exacta".
You mentioned eliminated teams in your comment. I bold the teams that qualify in the fast start but don't bold then unless they are currently in the playoffs, updated each week. If it says ELIMINATED next to a team that means they qualified to be the champion based on the groups but are officially eliminated, for exile example, the Chiefs.
Next season I can do the same here but I didn't think there was much interest so i didn't. I've put many, many days and hrs into refining hours system to narrow the field and it has worked. At least it has the last couple years. I also update the list with playoff seeds every week so it's clear who's l which teams are the strongest each particular week.
