atl +6
1. two mediocre teams in a pillow fight. cant understand why one of them would be laying 6.
2. saints beat the steelers, steelers beat the falcons..so that means saints beat the falcons right?.....wrong. this kind of deduction built the city of lv
3. saints beat the bears on the road and suddenly they get to lay 6 pts to someone?? don't forget they lost to carolina 41-10 at home two weeks ago.
4. atl already beat them 1st game of the season in a close game, don't see why the outcome would be much more than a 3 pt game either way. the teams are basically mirror images of each other.
giants +6.5
1. two mediocre teams in a pillow fight. cant understand why one of them would be laying 6.
2. the giants could very easily be an 8-6 team this yr. how you ask?
a.) lost to sf 16-10 (they had 1st and goal at the 1 late in the game, didn't score)
b.) lost 31-28 to dallas in a game they led by 11 in the 4th q
c.) lost 25-24 to jags in a game where they led 21-3 at halftime and only allowed 1 td by the jags offense
d.) won their last two games comfortably albeit against two really bad teams.
3. the rams meanwhile shut out two teams in a row, then only allowed 12 pts in their last game for a total of 12 pts in their last three games. sounds impressive on paper until you list the qbs they accomplished this against....carr, colt mccoy, and stanton/stanton's backup
4. i'll take eli over matthews and coughlin over fisher thank you very much
5. giants offense has been playing better as the season moves along, is it because they are getting more familiar with the offense or because they are playing bad teams? either way doesn't matter since the rams are a bad team.
