1. Wanted to get this before it goes to 3.5
2. Been burned by atl a few times this yr and when I actually watch some of their games it's as bad as it seems. This team just can't get out of its own way. The most boneheaded turnovers you will ever see and it's not flukey, it happens every game!
3. Kyle shanahans offense always gets figured out by thanksgiving , at least that's what I'm told and it seems to be true
4. Jags are playing with their hair on fire. I know this is a classic team that just got blown out vs a team that just blew someone out so the value is on the team that just got blown out aka the Falcons but this Falcons collapse is of epic proportions and I'm willing to bet it continues
5. I think there is something behind the scenes going on with Matt Ryan , maybe he's going through a divorce, or something like that but the way he's playing isn't making sense to me

I felt real good about ATL +9 last week. Man do I feel stupid. I am not sure I have ever seen a team so disinterested in football.

giants -5
1. panthers rb jonathan stewart will miss the game and te greg olsen hurt his knee and missed wed practice. these are the two top weapons for cam newton to utilize. something tells me ted ginn is not going to be getting open deep as easily with those two guys hobbled or out, so scratch the big plays for carolina this week.
2. giants will be able to put points on the board. their offense is clicking and panther's d is not inpenetrable. they gave up 38 to saints a couple weeks ago, 26 to colts, 29 to gb. this tells me the giants will be able to get 24-27 points in this game and that should be enough to cover 5.
3. giants are 6-7 but have not been blown out by anyone except the eagles 27-7 early in the yr. they lost by 6 to the skins in a game they sleep walked through the 1st three quarters of the game. the offense is clicking nicely now and they have a little taste of that late season mojo going. wouldn't be surprised to see them finish up 9-7 and win the division. as the giants sb teams know, its not how you start but how you finish. (which is also why i think they beat minny the following week as well.
4. could see the giants winning this game but even if they don't it will be close
5.the beckham vs norman matchup will be fun to watch, i doubt panthers leave him one on one though.

on a related note: who are the teaser buster candidates this week? i think the steelers/panthers teaser is probably going to be a popular one and it's not going to win!!

chargers -1.5
1. dolphins lose high profile game, now they have to travel to the other end of the country to play a team they probably think they are above
2. alot is being made of the chargers only scoring 3 points in 3 of their last 4 games, but that was against the chiefs twice and the broncos. they will be able to put up plenty of points on the soft and disinterested dolphins defense.
3. this could be the last game the chargers play in sd, so they may come out with some extra energy like the rams did thursday night for their possible last home game in stl. also, last home game for malcolm floyd and probably alot of other guys that may not be back with the chargers next yr.
4. rounding again, who leads the westgate contest has picked them as one of this 5 games so that doesn't hurt either.

KC is a potential teaser buster. I don't see it happening but the line is -6.5 (-105). It is probably the 2nd hottest team vs either Clausen or Schaub.
