Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots

Line - Patriots -4

Despite the loss last week to the Colts, Cassel has suddenly become "respectable". Some claim his numbers in his 1st few start are comparable to Brady's.....Some have even dared to say he is a "suitable" replacement for King Brady...ok...fine...so why is this fella only favored by a field goal and a safety at home vs a struggling QB and a Bills team who are loosers of their last 2...including a sound beating at home to the very same Jets team this New England Squad beat on the road back in week 2...hmmmm?

Carolina Panthers @ Oakland Raiders

Line - Panthers -9

Yeah Yeah, I know..its the Raiders..and after last weeks debacle against the Falcons, the obvious choice here would be the Panthers correct? Fairly simple...A TD and a field goal...against Al Davis and Jamarcus Russel...you can't get any easier...than that...right? I mean who in their right mind would even think about taking Raiders unless it was with Monopoly Money...? Vegas would....thats enough for me.....lol

Indianapolis Colts @ Pittsburgh Steelers

No Line right now...as its still early...but here's a question? What do you call a game that features a team who just went into Washington D.C. and beat a 6-2 squad with their back up quarterback, coming home to face a barely 500 team with a very outside shot at the playoffs....A Stone Cold Lock? Or a Bear Steel Trap?....lol....I can't wait to find out.....

Nothing is jumping out at me this week except the Giants/Eagles game.

Denver Broncos @ Cleveland Browns

Line - Browns -3

Ok Lets see...Browns beat Giants (well sort of..lol) then went on the road and beat Jacksonville...

Denver is beaten soundly again at home by that very same Jacksonville team the Browns beat on the road..a few weeks earlier, embarrassed on national TV by the PATS and their "back up QB", then again beaten soundly by the Miami Dolphins...at home....

And all the Browns can muster is a field goal....Jesus Christ...lol

Assuming the NFL is rigged, I think the Browns win this game. This is a national game in Cleveland vs a team that they can beat. They are 1-3 at home and have played whipping boy to some of the best teams in the league. The NFL needs to give them this win. They also have a QB change which will bring new life to the fans.

Denver fans can fall back on the fact that the Broncos are riddled with injuries and that they are away and on a short week.

Denver also has a better record. Wouldn't people look at the 4-4 vs 3-5 and assume Denver is the better team? plus the 3 points and they fall in love with Denver... most fantasy sites have also been hyping Ryan Torain for weeks and now he finally gets the start...

Tell me why I am wrong... What am I not looking at?

Cheers :toast:

You may have a point....a strong one at that...Denver has fallen out of favor with casual bettors tho...Browns can win next week at Buffalo...or maybe not...

And as far was the women go....They do car shows out here in Toronto...

Even though I'm BAGIANT elsewhere, I'm taking the EAGLES this week in my Stations Contest. The public will be all over the Giants!

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Detroit Lions

Line - Jaguars -6½

Not much to say about this one..a team that went into Cincinnati last week and did what no other team previously had done this season, loose to the most inept, underachieving and unprofessional teams the league has seen in quite some time...and yet here they are favored once again against a winless team that may even be worse than the Bengals...Line opened at 7 and dropped almost immediately...Dare I say the Lions get their 1st win at home this Sunday? It does look that way....of course looks can be deceiving....
