Houston will contend for a playoff spot.....That team is good.

Nick Chubb is the best back in the country by far.....32/222

Be cautious with new coaches catching attractive points on the road early in the season (Mizzou & Rutgers).

Learned its gonna be another year of misery watching people in middle tennessee that have never even been to the state of alabama jump on that over capacity bandwagon. Not impressed with their offense (they beat up some heartless, soulless bums) but this might be their best defense since 92. fml

We learned cam Cameron and les miles are done at lsu very soon.... Things need to change.

houston is very good.

when you have two QBs you have none.

defense still wins games, e.g. Houston, Alabama, Michigan......

pre season rankings make me laugh.

The white dude at Stanford is pretty decent.

1) Bama with a playmaker at QB is a totally different animal to deal with
2) Nobody does Les with more than the mad hatter
3) Barn's offense is really really really bizarre...and not in a good way
4) Chubb and Barrett will have to carry their teams this season
5) Cam Sutton can take away any #1 WR in the country
6) Rhode Island must be dreadful
7) Either Boise St, Houston, BYU, or San Diego St can challenge for a playoff spot
8) sCam Newtown is a douche
9) Dan Mullen, without Dak, will be exposed for the garbage coach he is
10) USC cheerleaders are really fn hot

No doubt....I still Nick Chubb is the best....The guy is a 100 yard machine.....15 out of his last 16 games 100 plus yards.

a) they had their chance to dump Les last year and didnt. Lots of Les love out there made them change their minds. Be careful what you wish for, I guess
b) Houston should be in the top 4 if Ward stays healthy
c) Texas disagrees. the 2 QB system can work (but ask again later in the season)
d) True. A good defense can be hard to find in the spread offense happy world of football
e) True. I've said this for years. Early season rankings are only good/necessary for TV networks to hype "top 25" teams
