Been a longtime reader of this forum and now have decided to post a few of my picks. Watch alot of the game which i think is important in everyday betting. Starting bank is $2000. and flat bets of $100 will be used to begin with. I don't guarantee winners, but i try to cover every angle.


Tampa v Boston Over 5.5 Goals, $100 to win $120- Tampa just played Boston a few night ago in Tampa Bay. They were given the loss of 3-1 by Phil Kessel scoring 2 and David Krejci adding the 3rd. Tim Thomas stopped 30 shots against the Lightning, holding them to just the 1 goal scored by Martin St. Louis. Mike Smith made 23 saves in that loss. The total has gone OVER in 5 of Boston's last 7 games when playing at home against Tampa Bay. I am expecting a more open game tonight and see Boston handing them a bigger loss at home but Tampa scoring in the process to push that over in. Tampa have a horrible road defense vs Boston conceding on average 4.5. Tampa are averaging 2.2 goals v Boston at there home. This could go to OT (i hope) but i see goals in this one tonight.

Tonight:


Islanders v Flyers Under 5.5 $100 to win $100 - The obvious bet would be the over here right, hell why not. Flyers are well rested and the Islanders are on a B2B game, flying out from Canada. Islanders are on the road for 2 more games going to the Penguins next and then to the Jackets. Doesn't get easy for them at all. Interesting situation is that the Islander last 9 games have gone over 7 straght games had 2 pushed totals on 6 in their last 2 games against Leafs and Thrashers. Toronto have been in a similiar situation going 9 straight overs then heading home to play Boston and went under 5.5. I think this game goes under tonight and the Flyers win 4-1 or 4-0. The Flyers and Islanders have played twice this season already, can only hope that this game isn't the game that goes over in the series as the previous 2 have been unders ( 3-1 & 3-2). I am surprised Vegas didn't have this total at 6.

Capitals to beat Bruins $100 to win $115 - Boston come into this game off 5 straight wins. I mean this team is on a tear and have disposed of great teams like Detroit. There's know way i saw this coming from the start of this season. Washington have had 3 days rest coming back from Carolina which they lost the game 3-1. At home, Washington have a superb record of 8-1 and tonight i believe the Capitals can extend that record to 9-1 and cooling off the Bruins. Washington is 2-5 SU in its last 7 games when playing at home against Boston, which means it won't be an easy game for Washington, but if Theodore is on, Washington can win it.

Ottawa v Washington Over 1.5 $150 to win $150 - On the 11/4 these teams met in Ottawa. It ended 2-1 in OT in the Senators favour. I was very surprised there were not more goals for Ottawa than just the 1 goal in regulation. Senators managed to fire 44 shots on goal to Washingtons 42. I am baffled as to how they did not get more goals. Tonight i see goals, and Washington are at home with a days rest from beating the Bruins. They should be ready and feeling pretty good about themselves. Ottawa aren't as strong as we have seen in previous seasons but they have kept there core goal scorers in Spezza and Alfredsson etc. I going 1st period Over tonight, i think there will be goals tonight.
