I can see almost any of the dogs winning outright this week. The only games in which I don't feel this way are Miami/Seattle, and, to a lesser extent, Chicago/Houston. I'll probably have a combination of those two in my various pools. Maybe add in a Green Bay here or there, but that's it.

Historically I have done well in pools, but NOT survivor pools. Of course I hope to change that this season. Looking at Cinc, GB and Seattle. Not sure yet.

Ya, the dogs are "small dogs" this week......Vegas not sure what to expect. Week 1 usually tough on lines....

I cannot see a logical scenario where Miami goes to Seattle and wins. Of course, if you only can use Seattle once, may be a good idea to keep them in back pocket.

After that though, much tougher. I personally think KC whips SD, but would hesitate to take a division game in a survivor pool. GB should handle JAX, but it is road game.

Looks like a tough opening week for survivor pool players as there are many question mark teams and match ups. For example, Philly goes undefeated in preseason and up against the win-less preseason Browns. All signs point to Philly but do you really want to take them with a rookie QB who even missed some preseason ball with an injury? And his collegiate career wasn't exactly against SEC or comparable level opponents. I know the Browns are bad but RGII or the untested, 'green' rook? See what I mean?

Agree that I would love to have SEA in my back pocket for later in the season........but if we don't sort out things for week one, SEA may fall out of my back pocket and be lost.

SEA over Miami for me.

RG3 and the Brownies +4 1/2 ( I like the outright win)
RG3 has 3 nice weapons...Coleman, Pryor Sr. & Barnidge
RB Crowell is a great dump off weapon too.
Watch out for the deep ball too, there gonna torch the Eagles secondary
