I just do not see where you guys see Bama as a solid pick here. Clemson is absolutley loaded...have ACC pre-season player of the year at QB in Harper, 2 of the best RB's in SPiller and Davis, and arguably the best receiver in the ACC in Kelly....The obvious weakness is the O-line, but contrary to belief, there are no freshman or redshirt freshman starting....the D-line with Sapp and Freshman Bowers will be strong, and the secondary is very solid.
Bama will be a hell of a team in the next couple of years, but I just think they will have too many freshman on the field, in their first game on national TV, to be able to handle the constant pressure. I think Clemson rolls easy by 2 TD's. Good luck guys!
the reason i like bama is because clemson is not experienced along the O-line....i feel like bama will be able to get pressure on harper and contain the rb's for clemson.....add the fact i think clemson will have a few to's and this is a close game.....bama should be able to move the ball against clemson.....this is one of two games i see clemson losing.....hope this helps....
