Week 1 NFL thread (70-33 last season)

Last year I finished at 70-33, + 32.20 units all at one unit per play. All bets are to win one unit on the favorite or to risk one unit on the dog. I will also post some halftime plays.
I play my teasers at ABC Islands and all 2-team 7 point teasers are -110, and a tie on any one-side is a winner on that one side. So, a tie and a win is a winner. A tie and a loss is a loser.
I will have two or so plays to start the day tomorrow. Then some halftimes from there. Good luck to everyone this season.

1st play is Rams - 1.5 -120 1st qtr

2nd play is Vikings 1st half. You can decide if you want to play Minn. - 1.5 - 142 at Pinn or do what I will use as official play from me:
Play Minn ML 1st half - 176 3 units
Cowboys ML in 1st qtr + 153 and 2nd qtr + 154 for 1 unit each. (This will count as one play for me with the net units up or down being used.) Bottom line I like Minn but like this value type of play on it.

Oren - I've just been working my tail off man. Been real busy of late.

CC - You are an inspiration to all. You are a gambler. You lose some and win some but you grind it out. Your perserverence is remarkable.

Dr Bigz - I didn't play any preseason this year.

-100 Boys 2nd qtr
+300 Vikings 1st half
As I said the plays on the Boys/Vikings would be counted as one win or loss with the total units added together. So for the day I am:
1-1, + 2.33 units

mfg...out of all the posters that i have seen at therx......you have made the BIGGEST turnaround.......

when you started posting, myself and other books were convinced you were a typical blowhard fraud, and proceeded to bash you at every chance....and by getting into pissing contests with raiders....you made an easy target...

last year you started to concentrate on your capping..posted sound betting strategies, stayed away from the bullshit.......and by doing that gained alot of respect from people in this business......you may not give a hoot what i or anybody else thinks about you....but i like the "new mfg" a whole lot better than the "old mfg"....gl

Dime - There is no new MFG or old MFG. I was being bashed for no reason and didn't appreciate it. You people "in the business" tend to think you know more than you did and I think you were being a real ass when you jumped into threads you knew nothing about. You seemed to think you knew it all, and your attitude has always left a sour taste in my mouth.
For your careless bashing, the only thing I think I want to here from you is an apology. I never attacked you nor did I give you a reason to flame me.
I posted and made 32k in bases a few years ago, then I had one bad day in bases and the haters like Raiders and eventually you, etc came on board. Then for shits and grins I posted unrealistic chase plays to give you guys some bs like you were giving me.
It's easy to attack when others join in, now when others give me a compliment you come in.
You showed a true lack of class in the past. Maybe you should think before you bash in the future.
For me, I feel as if I was giving out losing picks you would be in here bashing. So I take your thoughts with a bit of the attitude that you still think your shit don't stink and that now you think that mine might not stink as bad after all.
But I will give you credit for change of face. Peace.

the only time i bashed you was when you made "unrealistic chase plays"...........and as i recall they were "unrealistic" from the start of the season......i just pointed that out...

as far as getting involved in threads i knew nothing about, i tried to offer advice on your contest w/raiders.....so you guys would stop flooding the rr with b.s.

the only times i have ever bashed anyone, is if they are scammers or frauds.........

two years ago you didnt know how to make a sound bet.....(or at least you posted like you didnt).....the only dog you knew was the one in your back yard........your idea of value was betting a -385 fav when most shops carried -390.....

your missing my the point of my original post.......i was just pointing out your betting strategy is nothing like it was back then....and the change was a good one....

i will admit i can come across as an a-hole......for that i will apologize....my "know it all" attitude towards gambling comes from my own past mistakes....when i see someone posting, something i know will not work....i point it out.....
