Wait until the draft is over. Let's see who gets traded to which team. Example: San Diego -2 at home against Detroit may look good now, but if Rivers gets traded (as he wants to) then who will run the Charger offense? Then there are the injuries that will occur in the Pre-season. The only wager I would consider now is Green Bay -4 at Chicago. The Pack has won the last 4 games in Chicago by a minimum of points, and who knows exactly how dysfunctional that Bears team really is?

Tennessee's second pick is an interesting one. Folks around here are speculating Tennessee will take the Oregon quarterback and then trade him to San Diego for Rivers and draft picks. If Rivers lands at Tennessee, he would be just over a 100 miles from his home town here in North Alabama. I haven't seen his dad in several months...was hoping to run into him and try to get a scoop.

The scenario above could take place but Tennessee may just take the best defensive player (DT Southern Cal) and try to ride Mettenburger this season. Guess we'll know how it plays out draft day.

Speaking of the Titans...they get an odd schedule break this season.

Tennessee won't travel for five weeks. After opening with two road games, the Titans are home in Weeks 3,5,6 and 7, and have Week 4 bye. The last team with a four-game homestand was Houston back in 2008. The last team not to leave home for five straight weeks was the 1993 Buffalo Bills.

........more on scheduling........

Two teams have a pair of three-game homestands, Baltimore and Detroit. The Ravens are home in Weeks 8, 10 and 11, with a bye in Week 9, and again Weeks 14-16. Detroit doesn't leave Ford Field in Weeks 5-7 and again in Weeks 11-13.

Since the 1970 merger, only ten teams have had multiple three-game homestands in a season, most recently the 2008 Chicago Bears.

Throw the Jets in there too, though the middle game of the three game homestand is a road game in their own building.
