Did my homework on this game, and loved Pitt right out of the gate. Heres some stuff you might want to consider.

I researched the last 5 super bowl winners and their appearance in the following season week one debut.

04 NE beats Car, Week 1 -3 vs Indy, P (27-24)
05 NE beats Phi, Week 1 -7 1/2 vs Oak, W (30-20)
06 Pit beats Sea, Week 1 -1 vs Mia, W (28-17)
07 Ind beats Chi, Week 1 -6 vs NO, W (41-10)
08 Nyg beats NE, Week 1 -4 vs Wash, W (16-7)

Thats 4-0-1 over the last 5 years. Thats eye popping whether on Pitt or Tenn, Prime time game, only game of the night, kicking off the season... whew..

Add last years ass whooping in Tennesee and that fat idiot Lendale White stomping all over the terrible towel as your revenge factor.. UT OHHHH

It is actaually better than that for the SB winner and worse than that for the SB loser.

The SB winner is 9-0 S/U (7-2 ATS) and he SB loser is 0-9 ATS when they open up the next season.

And, history says you can disregard the spread with both of these teams, regardless of who they play:
The S/U winner is 44-6 ATS the last 50 Pitt games.
The S/U winner is 24-2-1 ATS the last 27 Titan games.

The Titans have a good running game, but are worse on D this year and I can't see Kerry Collins doing much this year besides throwing interceptions
