Its football time in Tennessee! I have been counting down the days for football to back on TV since it left me. It is finally here and the Vols have the Monday Night Football (COLLEGE STYLE) to open up the season. It couldn't be better. Here on campus there a lott of guys, girls, and families traveling to the game on Monday seeing that we do not have class that day.
Three games that really stick out to me; Michigan, Tennessee, and Missouri. The leadership skills and powerful run and pass schemes of the Tennessee Volunteers are things that really stick out to me here. Crompton is a playmaker and luckily doesn't make too many mistakes. He is emotional, in California if he keeps them somewhat in check the Volunteers will have a hay day. The O-Line gave up a total of four sacks the entire season and I just do not see this UCLA defensive line doing much up front against the hog mollies from Tennessee. People are tending to continue to speak of the weakness up front, if anyone was to get them ready for a season against a half injured squad it would be the huge guys up front from Tennessee. I can promise no D-Line can get worse by practicing with those cats.
Missouri is another team that can make a hell of a run in the Big 12. I really like Chase Daniels and the speed along with the offensive scheme of the Tigers should be just entirely too much to handle for the Fighting Illini. Juice can be contained and Benn can be slowed... Benn can also be the back breaker in the spread cover. I expect to have a good season and have been hard at work trying to keep up with these football camps during the Chicago Cubs run, we will see how my work paid out here early in Week 1.
(Compliments of the ETTG thread)
I have been on Ritch Rod and the Wolverines for quite some time and really want to ride their ass throughout the season. The QB position is still up in the air and really is not too much of a worry to me. With threatening incoming Freshmen and a better overall defense I can definitely see the QB position not being the problem against the Utes. Sam McGuffie is a big name that keeps ringing my bell, if you want to see a good highlight film. Watch his. The defense should be able to stop the probably starter Johnson seeing the problems they had last year with mobile QBs and working against a offense that runs it wide open all summer will definitely play in the Wolverines favor.
Week 1 College Football Plays:
Mizzouri Tigers -8.5 (2 units)
Tennessee Volunteers (5 units)
Michigan Wolverines -4 (4 units)
One unit plays will be added as the week goes on and I hope this helps someone. I'm looking forward to it fellows! Open discussion for all disagreements!
BOL to everyone! :toast:
