NBA -- 8:05 PM ET [511] Utah Jazz at [512] Houston Rockets PLAY: [511] UTAH JAZZ +2.5 (-110) BET SIZE: 3% Winning on the road in the NBA is much easier if: A) You play good defense; and B) You're motivated. Utah has both things going for them here. The Jazz have been a solid defensive club for the last couple seasons. They also have playoff revenge motivation, as Houston eliminated the Jazz in last season's Western Conference Semifinals. UTAH should be able to get it done against a Houston team that plays poor defense, and is once again without Chris Paul.

Two pushes, one win and one loss by two points yesterday.
Lines were really tight but I was happy with the picks that I made.
Just a few points from being 4-0. Risking 16 Units today.
The extra unit being on Wolves ML.
Dallas Mavericks -1.5(3 Units)
I like the Mavs a lot this year and I’ll probably keep backing them on these short lines. They are a better team than the Hawks but they need to find the will to win on the road. I feel like this is a great spot for them to get a road win under their belt and build some confidence going forward.
Miami Heat -8(3 Units)
It’s going to be difficult for the Knicks to compete in Miami tonight with all of their injuries and lack of depth. I feel like the Heat are a playoff team and should have a good season if they stay healthy. This a good spot to back them for a big win.
Minnesota Timberwolves +8.5(3 Units)
Minnesota Timberwolves ML +285(1 Unit)
This will be the toughest game thus far for both of these teams. I can’t imagine the wolves getting blown out with Butler in the lineup. My analysis says that Minnesota will win this game. My only concern is that Wiggins is a game time decision and he does matter in the matchup.
San Antonio Spurs -1.5(3 Units)
The Spurs are not getting enough respect from the linesmakers yet. They are still a very strong and well coached team with two all stars. They won 47 games last year mostly without Kawhi Leonard and this year they have roughly the same team but added DeRozan who looks fantastic so far.
Phoenix Suns +5(3 Units)
I have the Suns as the worst team in the West right now. However, the Lakers missing Rondo and Ingram are probably even or slightly worse than them on the road. The Lakers chemistry just isn’t there yet for me to back them on the road laying this many points. The Suns also seem to shoot exceptionally well on their home court and the Lakers aren’t going to slow that down tonight. The Lakers might get the win to tonight but winning by 6 is too much to expect from them.
