Pinnacle—-Cal The California Bears have only played two road games this year yet the public is slamming Washington right now mainly due to the Cal Bears having zero road wins this season. However sometimes you have to fade the public to earn some dough. This Cal defense is absolutely insanely good. On the road, the Bears are allowing just 60.50 points per game which is 12th in the NCAA. The Huskies offense is far from good as well as they are averaging 68.50 points per game at home which is 314th in the league. On defense the Huskies are giving up more than 73 points per game. In the last three games the Huskies have allowed 80.33 points per game. Wrapping up on this impressive CAL defense, they managed to hold UCLA, the team who scored at least 83 points in six of their eight games prior to meeting Cal to only 60 points. Impressive. CAL is going to slow down this game and pull apart this lack luster Washington offense. Despite the pair of losses to No. 7 USC and No. 5 UCLA, Cal proved its ability to compete against the Pac-12's best. The Bears were the first team to shoot 40% or better this season against the Trojans, who entered the Jan. 6 contest ranked first nationally in field-goal percentage defense (35.6%). Cal then held UCLA 22 points below its season average and out-rebounded the Bruins 37-27 in a 60-52 loss on Jan. 8

began in the mid to late b70's, my own opinion is that at best over time, which for me is all that counts, Burns is no
better than a mediocre capper,
